Just One More Time

The Incident

"KAYLA YOU BETTER GET UP IT IS 12:00!!" Her mother yells from the bottom steps. Kayla groans as she gets up from her bed, she says,"okay mom I'm getting ready." She grumbles to her self as she's getting up and getting dressed ,and trying to figure out what to do with her dirty blonde hair . She decides to put it in a loose bun and heads down stairs. She is the only child which gets pretty lonely but she has a best friend named Courtney. As Kayla gets downstairs the smell of strawberries hits her and she smiles to herself. "Honey we are going to see your Grandma Jane" Mrs.Walts says to her daughter and smiles hopefully . Kayla just smiles and nods " yeah that's fine mum " Kayla loved her grandma. Then Mr.Walt's comes in with a newspaper and says " guess who made the front page kaykay". She rolls her eyes as she knew it was her and sighs " I know dad, don't call me that okay?" She was so smart she always got awards. Her mom put a plate of pancakes and strawberries in front of her and says , " Hurry up we are leaving shortly" she says with a smile. Shortly after they all pile into the black BMW Kayla just puts in her ear buds and listens to Witt Lowry. They was driving down a two lane road when all of a sudden everything went black for Kayla. They had wrecked. Car parts went flying everywhere,from the truck and their car. A few days later Kayla wakes up in the hospital and groans. "Ughhh where am I ?" She starts looking around and freaks as her grandpa stands up.
"Its okay your in he hospital you had a bad car wreck " Kayla calms down.
" Where's my mom and dad" her grandpa looks down. "Where are they grandpa " a tear comes down his face
"They are....they are gone Kayla ". She freaks " what do you mean gone. They are not dead are they?!" She gets upset quickly and starts to cry and he says "I'm sorry my dear they are " Kayla sat there and thought all of her life is gone she looks up at him and cries "what's gunna happen to me?" He sighs " we have no room at our place, you'll be going to England with your Aunt Sarah." Kayla just looked at him she moved to England?! When?" He chuckles and says "Last year , we called her and she says she's coming for the funeral and that's when she's gonna take you with her" She shakes her head and says ". T..t..this can't be happening." She sighs and leans back on the bed "I have friends here I can't leave!" Her grandpa sighed as his wife walks in and smiles and says " oh! Honey you're awake! Thank goodness. Did your grandpa tell you?" She looks at him as I nod "yeah grandma he did..... Do I really have to go to England?" She looks at her and sighs. "I'm afraid so sweetie but don't worry your aunt is like your mom in so many ways trust me you'll like her and you'll make new friends!" Her voice sounded happy but I wasn't too happy.
