Chapter 2

After her conversation with her grandpa, the doctors came in. They told Kayla that they needed to run a few more tests and then she'll have to stay the night and she can leave tomorrow. Kayla groaned. Her grandpa looked at her " I'm sorry you have to be put through all this" he looked hurt like he was the one going through everything. Well I guess he kinda is, he just lost his son and daughter in-law. Kayla suddenly felt sorry for her grandparents , they just lost their only son. Kayla sighed and said " its okay grandpa its not your fault." She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

When she woke up, it was about 7 hours after she fallen asleep ,there was nurses doing some stuff and smiled when they realized she's up* Nurse 1 " hello ma'am you'll be ready to leave in the morning." She said smiling. Kayla just nodded and looked around and looked at the other nurse and asked " Where's my grandparents?" The nurse just smiled " they are in the waiting room , no worries sweetie. " she said and then they all left.

**next morning **

Kayla was ready to get out of the hospital and get some real food and see her friends. Then she thought, OH SHOOT COURTNEY. She forgot her best friend. how will she tell her?  She sighed as they headed down the hallway, as her grandpa was signing her out at the desk. She realized there was a lot of people here and noticed the painting on the wall of horses in a field and smiled. She's always loved horses.

When the papers was done she walked out in the air, and the sun hit her and she smiled. She walked to to the car she once loved. The car was a 1970 Camero(I think that's how you spell it). She got in and sighed. "This is gunna long for the rest of the year " she mumbled and buckled up. When she woke up she was  at her grandparents house, the aroma of strawberries hit her first thing. She jumps up thinking its her mother but to only see her grandmother and she smiled a sad smile and went to greet them.

After breakfast she decided to call Courtney . The funeral was in a day. She wondered how she would break the news and sighed and called her, thankfully she had a backup phone at her grandparents . Courtney answered, when Kayla was done saying all that , they both was in tears. Courtney said she will be there at the funeral. One thing Kayla left out was that she was moving to England.
