I woke up with aches and pains.
"Unnnggggh!" I silently groaned. I slapped my phone attempting to grab it, or turn it on to look at the time. It was 8:00 am. Rydel was up, still in her pajamas, over at her dresser, folding some clothes that she put in the drier last night. Just as I was about to doze off again, all the boys and Ellington busted through the door. I jumped up out of my spot.
"Aah!" I squealed, startled.
"Guys! For all you know one of us could have been in here changing!" Rydel yelled at them.
"Sorry." Ross apologized, "Anyways, We are going on tour again!"
I bolted up right screaming.
"I'm going on tour with R5!" I screamed.
"Yep! You are little sis." Rocky came over and put his arm around me.
"Great! Now can I go back to sleep. I'm tired I couldn't sleep last night."I said.
"Sure. Why didn't you sleep?" Rocky asked, concerned.
"When I get overly excited or am adjusting I have a hard time sleeping at night." I answered. "Nothing to be concerned about. Just stress level."
"Oh." Was all he said  then they walked out of the room. Rydel was still folding clothes as she told me to get some rest.
"I could hear you last night. I could tell you weren't sleeping right so I will try my hardest to be quiet. Get some sleep." She told me.
I yawned "I will." I then fell back to sleep with a smile on my face.
------time skip----week later-----------
So right now we are packing to go on tour. I finished a couple days ago. I got a little too excited. I also finished double checking a few minutes ago. Rydel wasn't in the room so I decided to take out my guitar and work on a song or two.
"I don't own you,
I don't even know my own name.
I have been waiting all this time to be found.
Woah-oh
I can't open my eyes." I sang softly strumming my guitar. "No, no, no. Not that last line." I crossed out the first and last line I wrote and continued strumming. Then I decided I was hungry. I set my guitar down and walked to the door. As I opened it all five boys stumbled and fell into the room. I just laughed and stepped over them. I walked downstairs for lunch and the boys walked down and started talking.
"Aubrey. You are really good. Where did you learn to play guitar?" Ross asked.
"Well, I'm really close with my teachers. Especially my music teacher and my principal. On half days or days off school, my principal knew not to inform my caretaker, Lacy, so I would get free time. So I would either go to the mall down the street or my music teacher would give me voice or guitar lessons, which I really enjoyed because my music teacher is so nice." I explained.
"Oh. Cool." Ross said.
"Rehearsal time!" Riker said getting up as we put our dishes in the sink.
"Can I come watch?" I asked
"Sure! You are more than welcome to!" Rydel answered.
"Yay!"
We got to the garage and the first thing Riker said was,
"Aubrey, show us whatcha got!" While handing me a guitar.
"What do you want me to sing?" I asked
"Anything." Rocky answered.
"Okay...here goes nothing."
"At 14 I used to talk to myself
Paint my bedroom with stars
One for each time my dad flaked out
Got a galaxy of scars
You know that feeling that you get when ya start to run out of breath
And ya pass out, wake up, wig out not knowing where you are

I'm safer here inside my submarine
'Cause when I'm under water you can't say anything
I can't hear anything

O-o-o-ohio
I don't need Hollywood
I don't need New York heights or Las Vegas lights
I need O-o-o-ohio
I've never even been there
But I'd rather fall asleep in an open field in Ohio
Ohio
Ohio" I sang tearing up. Ohio is where is used to live. Before my parents and I got in that crash. I don't remember the reason I ended up in California.
"What's wrong?" Rydel asked. "You were very good. I'd like to hear you sing more often. Why are you crying?"
"I-I used to live i-in Ohio. B-before my parents d-died." I stuttered.
"Oh. We're sorry." Rocky said hugging me.
"No, it's fine. You guys need to practice. I want to listen to you guys." I said wiping my tears.
"Okay." Rocky replied. They started playing. Well, I guess they know I like singing now.
