"Let's get you to your brother. Do you remember any other family?" Rydel asked

"George Jackson McLain." I stated.

"Aubrey...I I thought you were...dead?"

Now
"What?" I asked shocked. He pulled me into a hug.
"Aubrey, everyone thinks you're dead. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your funeral. You're real. You're alive."
"Yes, George, I'm alive. I'm real. Wait what? You didn't go to my funeral? Even if I wasn't dead you couldn't take off work once to go to YOUR SISTERS funeral!"
"Aubrey, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. Come in. Wait. Who are these people?"
"My new family. I was somehow put in an orphanage in California with out me knowing how I got there only just today realizing and remembering that I still had you, Jessie, Lucy, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle and our sister, who, except for you guys, are in Ohio. Our parents are dead and-" I got interrupted.
"Our parents? They're alive."
"What? Huh?"
"You were the one that died." George answered.
"Daddy. Who's that?" Lucy asked looking confused. I forgot her and Jessie were here.
"Lucy! It's you! Hon, I'm you aunt Aubrey."
"Daddy told me you went to heaven. The place good people go when their time is up in the life their used to. To start a new one." She told me.
"How old is she now?" I asked.
"Aubs, she's almost 4." Jessie told me. I started to back away. I covered my mouth and walked fast to the van tears streaming down my face. We drove home in silence for two hours. Traffic wasn't heavy right now and we took a different way. We got home at somewhere around 11:00 at night. We decide to go to bed. Rydel fell asleep quickly but I couldn't sleep. I was up for another hour and there is only one person in the house who is most likely still up.
"Hey." I said quietly while creaking open the door.
"Hey. Why are you still up? It's midnight and we all have to get up at like 4am." Riker said in a whisper trying not to wake Rocky. Tears started streaming down my face and Riker gestured for me to lay down with him so I did. He kissed the top of my head trying to soothe me as I kept quietly sobbing.
"Shhh. It'll be okay. I'm right here. Always." He told me. "You can't get hurt I won't allow that to happen."
"It's too late, Riker." I whispered back.
"No it's not. Trust me."
"Okay. I do."
"Get at least 3 and a half hours of sleep please." He told me.
"Okay. I will try."
"Do or do not. There is no try."
"Oh shut up you big idiot." I laughed a little.
"Okay. Goodnight, little sis."
"Good night big bro." I snuggled into him and peacefully fell asleep for what felt like forever.
