Chapter 04: The Escape

I'm having a hard time typing the parts of the story. I'm stuck!

The Monarch didn't expect what I did and Avanti. They are really too brainless not to guard off the whole house. 

As what Avanti said, I run faster to the tree. Mga putk ng baril ang mga sumunod na nangyari. Mbilis kong naakyat ang gate. Hindi ko namalayan ang bilis ng pagsunod ni Avanti. Now, the Monarch aim their guns at us. 

We both faced the land para maka-iwas sa mga bala. Ang pagdapa ang maiging solusyon para makailag. I pull the trigger of my gun to the Monarch, who is now on the outside. Three men down!

Avanti stood up and pull the trigger of her gun continuously. While the other hand is searching the granite she's telling me a while ago. 

Until she got it and hurriedly sit up. Naging panangga namin ang maliit na pader. I continuously shooting those Monarch na lumalabas. Until Avanti throws the granite. Seconds later, a booming sound echoed the whole place. 

Avanti sighed a deep breath. She looked at me. 

''So many mess to clean around, Diana.'' 

''I know.'' I just said. 

We both stand up and barely walked inside. The Monarch were lying in the ground lifeless. 

''Shit! I took really good care of this glass,'' Avanti said as she touched the broken glass wall of our house. 

''And the lawn! Those tiny green grasses. i so love it but now, it was being demolished!'' 

I just shook my head. Nakuha pa niyang manghinayang sa mga bagay na nawala. We enter the house. 

''Get dressed, Diana. We'll be be leaving this house. Anytime soon, lots of Monarch will be here.'' 

''How'd you even do that?'' out of nowhere kong sagot.  That made Avanti stopped through her room. 

''Being what? Avanti shook her head. 

''Being easily changing your attitude. Next second, you look so mother worrying for the things that had vanished as if it was your sons and daughters and you lost their lives. Next second again, you look so serious and so ready to kill.'' 

Avanti sly a smile. ''Just veteran's knows!'' 

Pumasok na siya sa kuwarto niya. 

I do the same thing. I changed my black nighties. All of my things are black. I just love black. It's concealing. I think, I can hide forever when I am wearing black and using black things. 

A black tight jeans. Black fitted sando. Black jacket and black hair. I even get my black bag para paglagyan ng marami kong itim na mga sando. Sando makes me feel so comfortable. 

At lahat ng mga bagay na sa tingin ko ay kailangan ko. I was about to go when I saw that thing. It sparkled as the little light from the outside hit it through the broken window. It also sparkled in my eyes. 

I get it. Ang bakal na naging sandata ko. 

Lumabas na ako at ganun rin si Avanti. 

She's wearing white sando and a shorts. Hindi ko na pinansin ang suot niyang sapatos. She looks having a jogging. 

''Get the things you want to bring?'' Avanti asked as she stared in my metal thing. 

''U-hh yeah,'' 

''And what was that for?'' 

I stared at her furiously and she didn't ask anymore. 

We waked silently from the house. The neighbors from heir high walls and beautiful houses are now watching us as we are walking. Seems that Avanti and I are some kind of hollywood.  We walked towards her black car. I get inside. She's the driver. I know. 

Nakaupo na siya ngunit hindi pa pinapaandar ang kotse. I heard the siren of police car. It must be one of the neighbor who called those useless policemen. 

''Your'e not moving. The police's here.'' I calmly said to her as she closed her eyes. Wrinkling her forehead and looks sad. 

''You know, I really love that house.'' Avanti said. 

''I don't even know that. I don't even know that you value our house. What's your problem, Avanti?'' 

This is what I am getting pissed off of her. She's so unpredictable. A while ago, she looks don;t care, emotionless and cold. Next, she's a drama queen. It's so easy for her to change a sudden emotion. And I think, it doesn't suit her. 

''Adios, my darling. '' 

She said as she pressed the button in a small plastic rectangular shape in her hands. I don't even know what was that for. But the policemen already parked their patrol car. Seconds passed by and the house vanished. A bold booming sound made the house grudge in the ground. And then, Avanti with a tear in her eye drive fast. Furious. Mad.
