I heard a knock. I turned my head and opened my mouth to speak. All that came out was a warbled mumble.

Another knock.

"WHAT?!" I screamed. A girl spoke. It was Karen. "Come with me." She said. I chuckled and said, "Hail Mary?"

We went outside. "Alright, what?" I said. My voice was raspy from screaming. She's been gone a week, now. Where did she go? "I wanted to give you some alone time, but... You seemed a tiny bit better." She said, holding my hands. I scoffed. "What are you gonna ask me to marry you?" I asked. She chuckled. "Glad to see you're still you. But, no." She said. "I saw Raini, well, I talked to her." My eyes widened and I let go of her hands while stepping back. "You... What?" I whispered. She had a big smile on her face and nodded. A gust of wind blew, causing my red hair to go into my mouth because it was open. I looked at Karen, her caramel short hair flowing in the wind. She stared at me. "Don't you want to know what happened?" She asked. "No... Y-yes. I do." I said.

"I asked her why she left. She didn't... Say really why." She frowned. "She kept changing the subject." "Where did you see her?" I asked. "At that CVS four miles down the road. She was getting..." She stopped. "What?" "Tampons." She whispered. "Oh..." "Anyways, I asked her where she was staying and, she sure is your sister alright. She said she was staying at a place. Then that was it. She grabbed her... Stuff, and left. Didn't say bye, or to tell you sorry or hi or WHATEVER." She said. "So... That's it?" I asked choked up. "Yes. I'm so sorry, Selena. I know it was basically nothing, but I felt you should know." She smiled. "No, no. Thank you. So much. I really appreciate it." I sniffed. She hugged me.

"She'll come around soon."
