My Luna Mate

Chapter 3

Gabby and I ran until we hit the road. Just like mum said Uncle Tyler was waiting for me. He looked surprised to see Gabby with me.

"Picking up strays Jo?" My Uncle laughs at his joke and is even happier when Gabby joins in.

"Funny Uncle. She is my mate..." I say my voice getting quieter as the sentence comes to an end.

"Welcome to the family my dear. Come on, lets go before your father works out whats going on" He says looking around us and ushering us towards his car.

"You are alright with this?" I ask him shocked. Normally it is kill on site for Alpha's who see any "funny business" as my father puts it.

"Not all packs are run like Hunter's. Love is love" He says starting the car and speeding down the road to where I'm guessing his pack is. "You will both be welcome to my pack. What's your name dear?" He directs toward my mate.

"Gabby sir." She replies timidly to my uncle.

"Well, Gabby, Jo, welcome to the Luna Sun pack!" My Uncle says excitedly.

"Are you sure you're 40?" I ask him smirking. "Very funny young lady!" He replies smiling at me.

"T-t-the Luna Sun Pack?! I thought the stories of that pack were myths!" Gabby squeals.

"No, we are just very good at hiding. Don't you worry about any dangers any more. Not even Hunter is stupid enough to go up against my pack." He tries to calm Gabby's panic.

"What about mum?" I ask him. Mum was in danger if dad found out who I was hiding with.

"We are going to recall our ex-pack mates from your dad's and Daniel's pack. We are unsure if his pack are friendly's." My Uncle tells us. "Daniel is friendly. Not so sure about his dad. Daniel knew mum was trying to help me escape. He didn't want the arranged mating either." I tell Uncle Tyler.

"Alright, we will talk about this once we reach home. Get some sleep girls its going to be a long trip." He orders us. We both fall into a sound sleep knowing we are finally safe.

Lilly POV

I slowly start to come to and feel a hand squeezing mine.

"Lilly? LILLY! Doc she is coming too!" I hear my mate yell. "Ugh, what happened?" I ask holding my head in my other hand.

"Joselyn or Gabbriel hit you over the head and ran. We haven't been able to track them down yet. Why did she do this to me!" He directs the last question to him.

"S-s-s-she's gone?" I let out a whimper getting Hunter's attention. "Don't worry my love I will get her back. Then she will mate Daniel and I will kill that bitch she ran with." Hunter growled.

"Luna Lilly! It is great to see you awake!" The doctor walks in followed by Daniel. "You took quite a hit to the head, but you will recover just fine. Just stay in the ward over night where you will have full care. You can go back to the pack house tomorrow." He tells me.

"Thank you Doctor. Daniel I am terribly sorry about all of this." I tell him.

"It is fine Luna Lilly. Your daughter feels so strongly about this Hunter perhaps we should call this off?" He directs towards Hunter.

"You listen here and you listen good boy. Your father and I have a contact. If you break it he gets Alpha title back. I am sure your pack would love that idiot back in charge" He growls at Daniel making him scowl back.

"Well then I guess I have until you find her to find my mate. I sure hell know that if I find my mate its game over for you old man." He hisses back to my mate. Good boy.
