After the mini moment of determination and love(gag) - starring Beau Alec Lancaster - we started again with the devil checking his breast pocket for the bracelet which he tucked in after the mini moment of deter- nope, not again.

'Can we sit down for a minute?' The annoying devil whined, poking my cheek. I bit my tongue and glared. He huffed and stomped like a child. God, to ever think I would ever develop a crush on him. Ha, a crush. Shoot me with a gun the day I do.

'It's your girlfriend you were so determined to find!' I shouted, glaring blackly. He frowned. Then, his frown lifted to a smirk I've grown to hate. I was afraid of what he was going to say and I was right to be.

'You're jealous of Cassandra!'

What now?!

I swiveled around with an open mouth. He must be crazy, right? I mean, could he hear what he was saying?

'Jealous? Why the hell would I be jealous?' I asked, smirking. I thought, he couldn't think of a reason, he has no brain. I've seriously underestimated this boy.

'Because you secretly want me!' He said, as if it was obvious. I choked and began to cough as he laughed. How cruel could he be? Couldn't he have at least pat my back to help?

'You need rest. You're spewing nonsense.' I told him, pushing him down to a rock. He sat eagerly.

'If you wanted to touch me, you could have just said.' He responded, smirking.

'We're looking for your girlfriend, you pig.' I hissed, sitting down next to him. There weren't any more rocks and I regretted forcing him to sit on the only rock.

My butt made contact with the cold grass and I cringed unintentionally. I squirmed a little to be comfortable but it was impossible.

You know the type of grass that is really comfortable to sit on? Well, this wasn't that kind. It was more like, I'm sitting on rough hay or tangled horse hair kind of feeling. It wasn't pleasant for my senses.

'Sit here.' The devil's voice spoke ip, patting his lap. I rolled my eyes and ignored him, gazing at the beautiful stars.

'Sit here.' He repeated.

I turned to him again with a scowl. Couldn't a girl enjoy the night starry sky without a jerk interrupting her for his sick fantasies? Apparently not.

'Shut up. Don't be such a pig.' I retorted, squirming once more to get comfy. Nope, not possible.

Suddenly, I was forcefully lifted off the grass - more like hay wire - and dropped on a warm lap. I couldn't believe I was saying this but he was really comfortable. And warm as hell. I guess hell really is hot, considering his temperature.

'There. Better?' He whispered into my ears, making me shiver. I nodded lightly, gazing at the stars. They were so beautiful and they sparkled stunningly. Each one was unique and special, which was why I liked them.

'You like the stars, huh?' He muttered. I didn't respond but I couldn't help myself smile a little.

We stayed like that for a while. It was relaxing and his warmth kept us both warm. When we felt that the silence was too awkward to continue with, we stood up and continued ahead, not speaking of what happened just before.

The time felt like it was going so slowly when in fact, it wasn't. Cassandra has been missing for more than hours and we were yet to find her.
