The Claire Jones Story (Re-write/Edited)

Chapter 12

The next morning Claire woke up and felt something was wrong.

Claire couldn't figure it out she just felt so tired and she didn't have the energy to get out of bed so she just laid there and slept all day.

The doctor knocked on Claire's door cause she haven't seen her all day.

" Claire? Claire, open the door."

She kept knock until she finally opened the door her self and saw Claire sleeping.

The doctor sighed and started shaking Claire " Claire, CLAIRE WAKE UP!"

Claire groaned and looked up and saw the doctor " Hey, what's up?"

The doctor sat on the bed " You have been asleep all day. You had visitors but no one could wake you but they are still here. What I want to know is why were you sleeping all day?"

Claire shrugged

" No. I'll not take that for an answer. There has to be something, there has to be  a reason why you didn't get out of bed."

Claire shook her head " I really don't know, I'm actually fine right now. I just got really tired and wanted to sleep more I didn't think I would sleep all day."

The doctor nodded " You are probably depressed without knowing it. It happens sometimes but you have to talk about it. Do you want me to take you to Tina after you see your visitors?"

Claire nodded " Let me get dressed."

The doctor nodded and walked out.

When she was done, Claire walked into the visiting room and saw her family.

Claire smiled " Hey you guys!'

Her family turned around and hugged her.

"I'm doing good you guys, the doctors said I'm making progress and I have to get my diagnosis later today and I'm really nervous."

Her mother smiled "Don't be. When you get it, it will explain everything then we will know how to keep up with your treatment after you get out of here."

Claire smiled and nodded.

" Lexi misses you so much, she sleeps in you bed until you get home."

Claire laughed " I kind of guess she was going to, she is my little sister, a mini me."

Her mother nodded "She is a mini you. Get better soon, the house isn't the same with out you. Love you Claire."

Claire smiled " Love you too, mom."

After the visit with her family Claire went back to her room and laid down her a minute. 

Claire sighed, she was nervous about her diagnosis, what if she's crazy and won't let her go home.

A knock came to the door 

"Come in!"

The door opened and the doctor came in " Tina wants to see you."

Claire nodded and got out of bed and walked to Tina's office.

Claire knocked on the door " Come in!"

Claire walked in and saw Tina at her desk.

Tina looked up and smiled " Hey Claire, come on sit."

Claire sat down across from Tina and she could tell that Claire was tense.

" Claire are you nervous?"

She nodded

" You don't ha...."

" Wouldn't you  be nervous if a doctor is bout to tell you if your crazy or not."

Tina chuckled " Claire, calm down. Your not crazy but you do have something seriously wrong with you."

Claire started to shake " OMG! Am I going to die?"

Tina shook her head " Oh Gosh No! Claire you have PTSD and Anorexic, Bulimia, and you have Bi-polar Disorder."

Claire just sat there shocked.

" I know this is a lot to take in but now  you know how to continue your recovery when get out of here soon."

Claire just sat there with a blank face.

" Claire can you here me? Claire? CLAIRE!"

Claire snapped back into reality " Yes , what is it?"

Tina sighed and shook her head " You didn't answer me you were in shock."

Claire nodded " I was because it explains so much now i now that am not actually crazy and that I have a mental illness. I have to live with for the rest of my life."

Tina nodded and smiled " You know you are one of few patients that i had that didn't freak out from their diagnosis. You know that shows me?"

Claire shook her head.

" You are maturing and you truly want to recover and be a better you. I'm proud of you Claire, keep up the amazing work."

Claire nodded and they shook hands and she walked out of Tina's office with a smile on her face.
