A wedding reception is a party held after the completion of a marriage ceremony.

After all the photos had been taken and everyone had entered and sat down at their tables, Claire and Daniel walked in hand in hand, smiling.

'Hello my name is Sam, and I have the honour of being Daniels best man today. I have known of known Daniel all my life, but I couldn't think of anyone better for him than Claire, she manages to always make him happy. It is with happiness that is stand here today and support him as he marries Claire.
I remember hearing Daniel telling me how he'd seen this beautiful girl, but he wasn't going to do anything, well couldn't do anything because he was best friends with her big brother, Xavier.' Everyone have a chuckle.
'But he managed to gain the courage needed, and he asked Claire in a date. The first date was special for him as he was already in love with Claire, I should know I never got peace and quiet from when he came home till he went to bed.' Everyone laughed it smiled at the comment.
'That date, of course, set them on a pathway to today, and their marriage, for which I think we're all grateful for.
Daniel, you are a great guy and brother - someone who is kind and caring, and fun. In Claire, you have found your perfect match - although I must admit she might be a little more fun than you are! I wish you both the best in the years to come.' Sam finished and raised his glass.

Everyone had finished dinner and was having small talk with everyone at their tables. I walked I've to Daniel and Claire and asked if they'd like to cut the cake and they said if course.
We walks over to the cake were I tapped my glass and got everyone's attention.
'Excuse me everyone it's time to cut the wedding cake now, so if you could focus o the lovely husband and bride.'
Everyone turned to Claire and Daniel,they took the box of which was covering the cake and there was gasps all around the room. The cake looked even prettier which all the lights on and the reflection on the gems in the middle of some of the flowers.
Claire and Daniel held their hands together on the knife and cut into the cake, they placed it onto the plate and bring it up and took a bit each and wrapped their arms around each other's and tasted the cake.
I saw Claire turn towards me and mouth 'thank you' I just have a slight nod of he head and gave a shrug. 

The dj had started to play the songs if giving him. I stood up and walked up to the microphone.
'Alright ladies and gentlemen, times for the bride and grooms first dance together as a married couple' I said whilst looking at Daniele and Claire.
They walked up to the dance floor and started dancing to surrender by Natalie Taylor. I felt my phone vibrate and looked down and looked at who it was and I excused my self from the table. Xavier gave me a worried glance.
'You okay?'
'Yeah, just need to take it a surprise that was added on by Daniel for climate has just arrived I need to put it in place.' I answered truthfully.
'Okay.' He gave a small smile.

I walked through to the back of the building and directed the men to the lake front. Once everything was set up I went through the reception again and started getting guest to the lake. I had managed to get everyone there or just the bride and groom.
'Claire? Daniel?' I questioned.
'Yeah Brooke? Where is everyone?' Claire asked.
'I need you guys to come with me and Claire you need to be blindfolded and you'll find out soon.' I replied.
Claire cautiously put the blindfold on, me and Daniel managed to get her outside safely.
'Okay guys where is everyone and why are we outside?' Claire asked.
'Just wait and see. Now stand here and keep your eyes closed till we tell you to.' I replied.
I took of her blindfold abs left the crest of it up to Daniel.
'Okay now you can open your eyes.' Daniel said sweetly.
'Okay.' Claire opened her eyes and saw everyone outside and her eyes furrowed in confusion.
'What's this all about Daniel?' She said turning to Daniel.
'Just look and watch them.' He replied and gave her kiss on the cheek.

'3, 2, 1!!' I said loudly and everyone opened the boxes therms were holding and butterflies left the boxes.
Claire couldn't stop smiling as hundreds of butterflies came flying towards her and Daniel. She turned around and gave Daniele a massive hug and kiss. Everyone was clapping and cheering as the photographers was capturing as many special moments as they could.
