The Wedding

Wedding (noun)
a marriage ceremony, especially considered as including the associated celebrations.

Claire was stressing so much about the wedding on the mourning of but for settled down that I told her that I had everything under control and once I had my dress on I'd go and check on the guys. She calmed down slightly after that.
I had in a beautiful light blue dress, which had a love heart neckline and a large slit up the left hand side. I hugged mine and the other bridesmaids figures perfectly. I walked to the opposite side of the building and towards where he boys were getting ready, I chapped the door and waited for them to answer.
'Who is it?'
'It me, Brooke.' I replied.
There was some shuffling and then the door opened. I first seen Ethan, Luca, Sam and Steven standing ready as I walked further in to the room I seen that Xavier was struggling with Daniels tie.
'How can two grown men not do a tie?'
'I uh eh.' He looked guilty and nervous.
'Oh god come here, your just as bad as Claire with the shakes.' I said whilst taking his tie of him and putting it around my neck.
'You both need to calm down. Anyhow come none of you guys helped him?' I said looking at Steven, Ethan, Luca and Sam.
'He didn't want use to touch it, he wanted to donut himself.' Sam replied.
'Okay...' I sighed.
'... Well you better stop the shakes when you get to the alter cause I don't want you fainting in your wedding plus I don't think your beautiful wife, by the way is breath taking wants her husband to be on the floor for their wedding.' I gave him a cheeky smile. He gave me a small smile back whilst the rest of the guys were laughing.
'Right I need to go back and make sure Claire's okay, please be careful, no shakes.' I gave him a pointed look.
'No shakes. Thank you B.' He said
'B? that's fancy I like it but fancy. I see you in half an hour.' I said with a smile then turned to words they guys.
'Look after him please I can't loom after the bride and the groom.' I then exited the room and headed back the way I came.

We had successfully made our way to the church. I ran ahead to tell them to start playing the music. Sam's little girl, Rebecca was the flower girl so she I went first and dropping delicate flowers in the fabric. Then went Eva, then me, Allison, Lydia and then Emily.

We are gathered here to do to unite two people who are in love. I believe they have their own voices wrote down so I'll pass it onto Daniel for his vows
Daniel looked at me and I mouthed 'no shakes' and he gave a little smile before taking a deep breath before saying his vows.
'From the moment our paths crossed, you've surprised me,
Distracted me,
Captivated me,
And challenged me in a way,
That no human being has ever had.
I've fallen in love with you again and again,
Countless times, without reservation,
No still I can't believe that today I get to marry my best friend.'
Claire had started slightly crying.
'I promise to be true to you,
To uplift and support you,
To frustrate and challenge you,
And to share with you the beautiful moments of life.
Someday, if the stars align,
I met even let you win an argument.

No matter what trails we encounter together or how much,
Time has passed,
I know that our love will never fade,
That we will always find strength in one another,
And that we will continue to grow side by side.'
Daniel had to take a deep breath before he finished his vows. Some of the family members where wiping away tears.
'I believe in the truth of what we are,
And I will love you always,
With every beat of my heart.'

Claire wiped away some stray tears before continuing.
'Seven years ago I could never imagined I would be in this place.
A place where I look into the eyes of my best friend and pledge to you my love.

You are the sweetest, most loving, caring and kind person I have ever known,
and I have to doubt that you will make me a better woman and hopefully mother.'
I looked up and over to where Xavier was standing and that's when I realised I was crying. Xavier mouthed 'are you okay?' I replied with a simple nod of the head and a small smile. I looked back to Claire and Daniel who had the biggest smiles on each of their faces.

'You believe in me and have shown me how to,
love with unconditional acceptance and every day you reaffirm that you are my soul mate.
Together we are an unbreakable pair, bound by our love.

I'm not sure that a lifetime is long enough for me to return all that you have given me but I promise to spend my days by your side.
To inspire you, laugh with you, cherish you, confirm you, share your dreams and grow with you.

I believe in what we are and I will always love you with every beat of my heart.'
The family members awed and some sniffled.
'Do you Daniel McGarret take Claire Knight to be your lawful wife to have and to hold and for better or for worse?' The priest said
'I do.' Daniel said staring lovingly at Claire.
'Do you Claire Knight take Daniel McGarret to be your lawful husband, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health?'
'I do.' Claire replied with a large smile on her face.
'Then I pronounce you man and wife, Mr and Mrs McGarret. You may kiss the bride.' The priest said and then Daniel took Claire into his arms and kissed her. He gave her a dip before he brought her back up. Everyone cheered and clapped gif that happy couple.
They walked down the isle together holding hands, well they practically skipped out the door.

I really enjoyed writing this chapter letting you guys know that I'm away at the weekend so I won't be posting as there's no wifi but I'll be writing so there'll will be many chapters to be posted when I come back.
