I woke up on the couch the next morning with the dreaded newspaper on my lap, I must of fell asleep whilst reading it. I still couldn't get it out my head that the paparazzi where watching is the whole night, everything we done and now there reporting about.
I got up and got dressed but I realised it was a day off for me so I put in semi lazy clothes unless I had a last minute appointment. I made my way to the kitchen where I made my usual breakfast which consisted of toast with a different topping every day.
Once my toast was ready I went through to the living room and plopped down on the couch and caught up with orange is the new black, I was pretty far behind.
I was maybe half way through watching my second episode when my phone started ringing, I picked it up and seen it was Xavier who was calling. I decided to just ignore it and watch my tv show, I put my phone into silent mode so it wouldn't keep disturbing me.
It was maybe 3 hours later when I stopped watching the show. I looked at my phone and saw that I had missed calls from Xavier and some texts which I replied to straight away. I was about to phone Xavier back when there was a knock at my door. I walked over and opened my door to see an angry looking Xavier.
'Why weren't you answering my calls?' He asked straight away.
'I was watching the tv and I didn't hear them because I always put my phone into silent.' I replied.
'You still could of looked or even answered the first time because I know you hung up.' He said accusingly.
'What so your an investigator now?' I questioned getting angry.
'No I'm saying I'm worried about you.' He replied.
'Worried about me?' I said sarcastically.
'You weren't that worried when you allowed the paparazzi to take photos on our date night.' I said angrily.
'What? What are you talking about?'
I flung the newspaper at him.
'That's what I'm talking about!' I said annoyed. I walked away when he grabbed my arm and turned me around .
'I didn't know anything about this. About them!' He said lifting the paper up.
'This is why I was phoning you cause this always happens. Why do you think I haven't been on dates for ages? They all react the same way as this! Everyone!' He said almost crying.
I stopped arguing then when I realised how upset he was.
I pulled him in for a hug, he tucked his head into my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me whilst I rubbed his back.
'It's okay I overreacted. I'm sorry.' I said soothingly.
'No it's fine, I'm used to it.' He said as he stood up tall.
There was a moment of silence between us as both of us didn't really know what to say.
I broke the silence
'Would you like to stay for dinner and watch some tv?'
'Yeah sure but I need to be at the office for half eight, I've got a Skype call with a potential client.' He said.
'Okay that's fine what would you like?' I questioned.
'Anything.' He said honestly.

I made me and Xavier some dinner and we watched some containment together until it was time for Xavier to go and have the Skype call with his potential client. We said quick goodbyes and he gave me a kiss on the check and I waved as he entered his car a drive away but not before he asked me in a second date but this time I get to chose were we go. I closed the door and walked to the kitchen where I saw the newspaper, I grabbed it frustrated and flung it into the bin. That was that away and sorted.
