The poster that started it all

Melanie's POV;

(July 25th, 2016 Monday)

"Hey you wanna go to the movies?" I said through the phone excitedly.
"Yeah sure that sounds fun!"
"Alright I'll come pick you up"
Cat laughed "Okay see ya"
"See you" I hung up with a smile and stood there thinking. What am I gonna wear?
It was sort of rainy so I put on a pair of black jeans, a pink t-shirt, a pink beanie, and some converse.
"Alright I'm good" I grabbed my keys, my wallet, and a granola bar and texted cat

I got in my car and drove the 10 minutes and pulled into her driveway.
Walking to the front door I dropped my keys.
Picking them up I saw a baby bird on the ground.
I put it back in its nest on the tree very carefully.
Luckily the nest was on a lower branch.
"What are you doing" Cat asked coming outside, probably to wait for me.
"He fell, I was just putting him back. Do you have any hand sanitizer on you?"
"Yeah here" She handed me the little bottle and as I put some on I remembered the smell
"Mmm.. Peppermint, thanks"
We got in the car and drove to the movies

"THAT MOVIE WAS AWESOME" I screamed that so loud I thought China could hear it
"Alright yes it was good, but do you have to yell?" She said annoyed at my loudness but laughing too
"Yes, yes I do."
"Fine." She sighed and looked over "Look!"
I stopped in my tracks to see a poster of a 5sos tour coming up next year
"Oh" My mouth dropped
"My" Cat said with me
"GOD" we said at the same time
"Call them" we got out our phones and followed my commands, we texted AJ and Higgie about the concert and we all were in
"So we'll all meet at my casa later?" Cat asked on the phone to Higgie
"Yes you weirdo now got to go bye" Tiff said on the other line
"So we're meeting at Cats tonight.."
"Cool okay I'll come then" AJ said on my line
"Alright bye"
"Byeee" she excitedly hung up
"She's so already gonna be there before we get back" I said getting in the car
"Well that just means.." Cat said laughing a little while sighing
"What?" I said giving her a questionable look
"She'll be cuddling with my dog again" she said face palming
Her dog is huge, he's literally the size of a bear but her other one is just a cute little old lab named Layla
"Hopefully Layla will protect her from Diesel" I said
"He's gonna eat her one day"
