Hey guys. Sorry for not updating in awhile.... summer school has been stressing me out a lot because I really want to make sure I'm keeping my grade up so I don't want to make any mistakes. This week I had multiple presentations to do back to back and my anxiety has gone up with the mix of stress so I'm not at my best right now.
Hope you're all doing well. Enjoy :-)

Bea Ashby:
I open the door to the house and let the cold wind enter as I did, but quickly close the door behind myself when both Milo and I are inside.
The warmth of the house stats to warm up my rosy cheeks and I instantly start to remove my gloves and jacket.
"Hey," Jennifer quickly rushes, zipping up her coat. "I have several meetings and I'm going for a business dinner with some clients. Your dad will be joining us after he returns from the doctors for Justin's check up," Sh e explains, "Noah is also inviting his teammates over for tonight. It's their last game before Christmas break."
After saying goodbye to Jennifer, I take off Milo's leash and he barks happily before going off on his own around the house.
I try not to think about this morning, but I couldn't help it. Today when I had woken up, I notice that Justin was still in my bed with his arms wrapped around me, holding me close to his chest. It felt nice to be in his arms and listen to his heartbeat. It turns out he was already awake and we were both a little disappointed that he had to leave my room before any of the parents found us together.
But before leaving to his room, he had placed a quick kiss to the top of my head. It made me slightly giddy all morning and I couldn't wait until he returned from the doctors.
A few hours later, as expected, Noah had returned with his teammates. They were all incredibly loud, so loud I could hear them from outside before they even entered the house.
"Heyyyyy, Bea." A familiar voice slurs when they see me filling up Milo's water bowl.
I send an unimpressed look towards the owner of the voice. "Hi Xavier," He sends a sheepish smile towards me. "You're not still mad about the pool thing... are you?" He asks, unsure.
I hold back from spazzing at him about the time he threw me into the pool and almost drowned, but didn't thanks to Justin. "Xavier, quit bugging her." A new voice chimes in.
Xavier steps aside and Paul smiles at me. "Long time no see, Beatrice. I think you've been avoiding us all." Paul grins, his bright blue eyes light and playful. "How's that boy you rejected me for?" He jokes, making my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
"Shut up, Paul." I shake my head, looking away.
Paul is one of Noah's closest friends and he and the guys on Noah's team always joke about how he's in love with me, only to get on both Noah and I's nerves because we all know he isn't serious.
Before I could get any more attention from the guys, I manage to slip away after saying a quick goodbye to Paul. I'm about to head upstairs when the front door opens.
Justin and my dad both enter, I don't miss the look of anger on Justin's face as he quickly rushes upstairs. I look at my dad in confusion. "Doctor Terrenlot was there and Justin wasn't a big fan of the doctor and his tools so he's a little cranky." He admits.
Dad goes upstairs to get ready to go out for the dinner with Jennifer and her clients and I sneak upstairs to Justin's room, knocking on the door.
He grunts in response and I enter the room, seeing Justin laying out on his bed with his notebook clutched to his chest.
I slowly walk in, shutting the door behind me as I make my way to his bed. I take the spot next to him and curl up next to him, closing my eyes. Soon I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and pull me into Justin's chest.
"You okay?" I whisper.
He just grunts in response, making me peak an eye open. He looks visibly tired and somewhat upset. I reach up to gently run my fingers through his hair and watch as his eyes flutter closed, his facial expression somewhat content.
We lay like this for a bit before I eventually force myself to get up and stretch my arms out. "You want anything to eat?" I ask. Justin shakes his head no, closing his eyes once again and I sigh, murmuring something about coming back in a few minutes.
I head downstairs where all the guys still are being loud and obnoxious and head to the kitchen where I start to heat up some food for both Justin and I. He needs to eat at least a little.
"So rumour has it Grant is no longer in the picture," Paul slips in next to me, quirking an eyebrow at me suggestively. "How about you give me a chance?" He jokes, wiggling his eyebrows. "Shut up, Paul." I snort, not taking my eyes off the food I was preparing to heat up.
"I'm just joking, Bea." He smiles and I just shake my head at him. Every time I see Paul it seems that I always say 'Shut up Paul' because he just has that effect on people.
Don't get me wrong, I like Paul. He's nice and funny and it's really infectious. My food is done heating up, I manage to dodge Paul from another joke and sneak back upstairs. Justin is still laying on the bed with his eyes closed.
I place the food on his bedside table and nudge his shoulder. "I brought you food," I nod to the plate next to the bed.
He rolls over and sits up, glancing back at the food before sending me a small smile.
"Justin has dad ever talked about Christmas?" I ask casually.
He looks confused and shakes his head no. That's when I start to explain to him about the holiday and how it was coming up very soon next week. Noah and I have come up with an idea for a Christmas gift, but I'm not sure if dad would be up for it. I still need to talk to him about our idea.
"Sounds... n-nice?" Justin questions and I smile. "It's very nice."
This is going to be Justin's first Christmas with us and I just really want it to be great.
