Bea Ashby:

Right in front of my eyes, in the depths of the jungle, I see one of the biggest trees I have ever seen in my life.

A large, thick trunk soared up into the sky of trees. The tree practically hovers over the other ones, but it's not the tree that seems to grab Justin's attention.

Next to the extremely tall tree is what looks like a wooden cabin built on stilts to hold up the house all the way with the large tree.

Grinning, Justin sprints over and I follow. The roof of the house is covered in moss and leaves and vines are growing on the sides.

The only thing is that there are no stairs to get up to the cabin.

I watch as Justin grabs onto the large tree and places his foot onto the trunk, using his hands to grip the built in grips on the tree like they use for rock climbing.

"Up there," he nods to the cabin and starts to climb with ease until he reaches the height of the cabin floor and leaps over onto the wooden floor held up by the stilts.

I watch in amazement as he leans over the edge and waves me over. "Come up!" He shouts.

Taking a deep breath, I approach the tree and I start to climb up. I have some difficultly and I have to grip onto the wooden grips with the fear of letting go and falling over.

Justin stands by the edge with his hand out. Taking another deep breath, I allow one hand to let go of the grip and grab his. He smiles and as he holds onto my hand, he helps me extend my foot onto the cabin floor and stride onto it.

I tumble a bit and lose balance as I do so, but Justin is quick to grab me with two arms and pull me into his chest and away from the edge.

"You okay?" He asks, but he doesn't let go right away.

Nodding, I stay in his arms for another two seconds before slowly he finally lets go and takes my hand to lead me into the cabin.

The door has a few locks, but none of them seem to be in use as Justin pushes the door open with ease.

He enters first and I follow, my eyes taking everything in. It's dimly light inside, the only source of light being the cracks in the cabin that allowed outside light to enter. The blinds in the wooden cabin are shut, blocking out whatever it can.

In the corner of the cabin, there are two twin beds. Justin points to the one with the blue sheets. "Mine," he then points to the other bed pushed against the wall and says, "hers."

He approaches the other bed that belonged to whom I understand belong to his mother and takes a seat.

He feels the old sheets and I notice the sad look in his eyes, but he stands up again and focuses on something else.

Off to the side is a door which he states is a sort of bathroom. It's not like back home, but something similar in a sense. Off to the other side of the room is a desk against the large wooden wall and I notice a scatter of papers. His mothers research.

I approach the table timidly, my eyes gazing over the stacks paper worth of research that Justin's mother did. The reason she and him ever came here in the first place, before she passed away.
