While babysitting Copeland she just vanishes and you find her with some guy buying her sweets: What the hell?!

Another tiring day, another walk to the park and playground, another day of going to the supermarket, but also another day of spending time with precious little Copeland.
Whenever Kellin is away on tour or has interviews or spends whole days and nights working on new music I'm there to help Katelynn out. I'm something between a nanny and friend to them.
Today I have Copeland for a few hours, because Kellin had to go to some studio to make some testing shoots for their upcoming music video. So he called and here I am. Walking down some isles in the supermarket with the cutest little girl in the shopping cart. Kellin literally begged me to do the shopping for him.

"Doggy!", Copeland exclaims and I turn to her.
"What?"
"Cuddly woof!", she raises her little arm and points in one direction. I follow her gaze and realise what she's talking about.
"Daddy always plays with woof", she tells me matter of factly and reaches her arms up for me to take her. I smile and take her out of the cart. She stumbles a few steps but regains her balance and walks over to the little playing area for children. There is a little TV playing some cartoons and some toy blocks scattered around. Copeland drags me to a big plush dog. The dog's maybe even a little bit bigger than the girl. She hugs it and climbs on top of it. I smile at her because she looks so adorable sitting on this yellowish stuffed animal and she instantly starts to talk to it.
"Stay here for a moment, okay? I'm just over there getting some bread if you search for me", I tell her and she smiles up at me and nods her head. Then she goes back to cuddling and petting the dog.
I walk over to the little bakery to get some bread for the Quinns but not without looking every few seconds behind me to check on Copeland. After all that's what I get payed for and I'd never forgive myself if something happend to the little sunshine.
I get the bread I want and go back. I lay it in the shopping cart and kneel down beside Copeland.
"Come on. We've gotta go and get some apples and bananas for you."
"Noooooo", she whines and clutches onto the dog.
I sigh and stand up to look over to where the vegetables and fruits are. At least a part of the section I can see from where I stand.
"Please, Cope...", I try again but she just shakes her head no.
"Okay. But don't go away. Don't go with anyone you don't know, yeah? Wait right here for me and I'll be back in a minute", I say to her. She nods right away, but I repeat what I said and emphasise for her not to go with a stranger, no matter what he promises her. She just says she knows not to go anywhere and not to talk to anyone. Mommy and Daddy always tell her this. I'm a bit relieved but still reluctant to go without her.

Still I take the shopping cart and push it to the fruits. I get the apples and bananas, a salad and some tomatoes and push the cart back to the playing area. I see Cope still playing silently and happily with the stuffed dog. So I decide to quickly get the milk. The frozen and cool goods are right next to the fruits. So I rush over and get two bottles of milk.

Once I'm back in view of the play area, my heart stops beating.
There lays the dog on the floor but Copeland is nowhere to be seen. I abandon my cart and run over.
"Cope? Cope!", I yell.
Now my heartbeat speeds up to an unnormal rate and I begin to panic.
"Copeland?! Where are you? COPE?"
I rush from one corner to the other and look out for my little girl. Shit Shit Shit.
"Copeland!", I yell again but nothing happens.
"Sorry?", I turn around and an old lady looks at me.
"You looking for the blonde little girl?"
"Yes! Have you seen her?", I ask frantically.
She nods: "A man came up to her and she immediately went with him. He took her over there! I'm so sorry, girl, I thought it was her father."
She wants to tell me more but I rush with a short 'Thank You' in the direction she pointed at.

I pace down a hall and turn to my right.
"Copeland?!", I yell again.
"Yes?", her squeaky voice floats over to me and I run to her. She walks out behind a shelf and smiles at me. I run to her and fall to my knees and hug her tightly to my body.
She just giggles and her tiny arms go around my neck.
"Never ever do that again!", I scold her and she looks confused.
"What?"
"I told you not to go away. Most importantly not to go with some stranger!"
"But uncle Vicky took me to choose a chocolate for me!", she defends herself giggling.
"You're not allowed to take sweets from random people, Cope!", I'm really shocked. I told her all this and even her parents do this all the time but she still goes away?
Someone clears their throat beside me and Copeland squeals happily and tries to get out of my grip. I hold onto her, stand up and sit her on my hip.
"And you are?", I ask the man standing infront of me.
"Victor Fuentes. And you?"
I hits me when he says his name and I instantly regret being so rude.
"Oh god... Sorry! I'm Copelands nanny", I introduce myself and smile at him.
"Actually I'm sorry. I shouldn't have just taken her with me. That wasn't right. I should've waited for you. But I thought Kate or Kells are here with her. They know I'm often here and I love to buy this little princess some sweets, right baby girl?", he smiles and Copeland nods her head yes.
"Uncle Vicky always gets me the best things!"
I laugh at her.
