Speed Is Not Everything *under editing*

Chapter 8: The team meets Laura

We land and we walk towards the house. I run towards the house but let Clint be the first one to enter.

"Honey, I'm home", he calls.

A pregnant women came into the room and I assumed it was Laura. I have never met them but I knew about them. Clint had told them about me so I was now his kids aunt.

"Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead", Clint said.

Laura just says a simple, "Hey."

I hear Tony say, "This is an agent of some kind", as Laura and Clint kiss. I roll my eyes.

Clint then turns to the team and says, "Gentlemen, this is Laura."

Laura says, "I know all of your names except yours", as she points to me.

I smile, "My name is Alejandrea."

"Oh you're the one Clint told me about. He said you were like a sister to him", Laura says.

"Ooh. Incoming", Clint says as a little girl and boy run into the room.

Lila grins widely as she says, "Dad!"

"I see her", Clint says then looks at his son, Cooper. "Hey, buddy. How are you guys doing?"

"These are... smaller agents", Tony says to the rest of the surprised team.

Lila then says, "Did you bring Auntie Nat and Auntie Alejandrea so I can meet her?"

I smile and Natasha and I step out. Lila runs to Nat while I just stand there smiling. She gives each of us a hug before she asks me something I smile at.

"Can I call you Allie?"

"Yes, you can", I say in my best happy baby voice. She laughs and grabs my hand and drags me away.

"Do you want to color?", she asks me.

"I would love to!"

She drags me to where she has coloring supplies and a paper. She is working on a horse.

I smile and start working on drawing. When I finish, I look at it and gasp in shock. I just drew Pietro Maximoff.

I quickly fold it up and hide it before Lila notices. I grab another piece of paper and start drawing Lila.

I finish and look at it. I drew it so she looked realistic. I decide to give it to her.

"Hey, Lila. Look what I drew", I say as I show it to her.

She gasps and says, "It looks just like me!"

I smile and look up when I hear the door open. There stands Nick Fury.

Everyone starts talking but I zoom out thinking about something I never would have thought I would think about. I was thinking about Pietro Maximoff.

When I finally snapped out of my thoughts, I hear Bruce say, "Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?"
