Chapter 18: Four Months Later

Pietro's POV

I'm so nervous for the date I have planned out. Me and Lexie have been dating for at least four months. I think she's the one for me. I'm just about to ask Tony if I can ask Lexie to marry me.

I walk into the lab and see Tony talking to Bruce. Yeah we found him. Anyway.

"Hey uh Tony, can I ask you something", I ask.

"You just did but knock yourself out", he says.

"Do I have your blessing to ask Alexa to marry me", I ask.

He looks at me and so does Bruce.

"You have my blessing. Just don't break her heart or else I'll break your neck", Tony says. Bruce nods.

I gulp and mutter out a quick thank you.

I think about the date I had planned. I wanted us to have a dinner date underneath the stars so we could stagaze.

It's about six in the evening and the date starts at seven.

I go to Lexie's door and knock on it. She opens it and smiles.

"Wear something nice for our date tonight", I say and rush off.

I quickly throw on a suit and tie and grab the box with the ring in it. It was a beautiful ring.

Alexa's POV

I walk out of my bathroom to see Natasha and Wanda sitting on my bed. I had just taken a shower and now I was in my bathrobe.

"Do you know what you're going to wear for the date?", Wanda asks.

I shake my head and Wanda gets an idea.

"I wonder if I could create the perfect dress for you with my mind", she says.

Suddenly a dress starts forming out of nowhere. It materializes completely. The dress was beautiful with its long blue skirt and short sleeves.

I smile as I put it on. Then they start doing my hair. I don't know what they're doing yet but I'll find out later.

A few minutes later they put me in front of a mirror. I'd gasp in shock. This is the prettiest thing I have ever seen.

I looked stunning. My hair was down and it was straightened. My hair is naturally curly so straight hair was so pretty. They also put on a little lip gloss but that's it. I was finally ready for my date and just in time as well, because there was a knock at the door.

It was Pietro and he looked handsome with his suit and tie. When he saw me, it was obvious that he was staring.

"Take a picture it'll last longer", I say.

That snapped him out of it and he held out his arm.

"Shall we go", he asked.

"We shall", I say as I take his arm. We walk toward the elevator just chatting. We walk out the front doors and he sweeps me off my feet.

"We're going to run there because it will be faster than a car", he says.

"Alright", I hide my face in his jacket.

He starts running but stops after a few seconds. He puts me down and says, "Keep your eyes closed."

I do as he says and wait patiently.

"You can open them now."

I open my eyes and see a picnic blanket and food. Also candles are placed randomly around. It was beautiful. But the best part was when I saw him.

Pietro was on one knee holding a box with a beautiful ring in it.

"Alexa Siren Stark, I have loved you since I first saw you. You are the most beautiful girl I have seen. And I've seen a lot of girls. But that doesn't matter. All that matters is about whether you love enough to say yes. So, Alexa, will you marry me?", he asks.

I giggled at some parts but by the end I was in tears. I could barely speak and I just ran to him and hugged him.

Then I squealed, "yes!", like a little girl. He laughed and I hugged him tighter. He put the engagement ring on my finger and we smiled. We sat next to each other and ate our dinner. We talked and laughed and once we finished, Pietro blew out all the candles.

"Look up", he says and I do. I gasp when I see all the stars.

Then he started singing.

I started singing along with him.

I grin at him and he smiles back. I hug him and we just cuddle staring up at the stars. After thirty minutes, he says, "We should probably get back."

I nod and we pack up everything. I smile as he picks me up again.

He runs off with me in his arms and we stop in front of the tower.

We walk in and see Pepper.

"Hey, mom", I say. Yeah I call her mom because she is dating my dad. I want them to get married so much.

"Did you do it?", she asks Pietro.

"Yeah, I did", he says.

"Do what?" I say confused.

"Propose to you", Mom says.

"Oh, yeah, he did", I say as I hold up my hand.

"Good. Now come on everyone's waiting", she says.

"For what?", Pietro says.

"You'll see", she says.
