Matt took his seat at the computer, Steph standing right behind him.
"What are you thinking?" Steph asked.
"I've got a theory. I think that the kidnapper takes you to the red room. So, if we can get to the real red room, we'll be able to see if Jason's there." Matt explained.
"That's going to be creepy. Seeing a friend get tortured and murdered." Steph shuddered. "Shouldn't we leave this to the police?"
"I would, but I have to see this. I just have to see if he's there, then we get off the deep Web, and if he's there, we contact the police, if not, we leave it to them."
"I'll try to help you out. Here, I'll call you on Skype." Nate said before hanging up. A few seconds later, Nate's face appeared on the screen. Matt and Stephanie's faces appeared in a small square in the bottom of the screen.
"So, Nate, what do we do?" Matt asked.
"Alright, I'll send you a download of the system you'll need to browse the deep Web." A new message popped up in Matt's Inbox, saying, "downloads."
In the email, there were three downloads. A.N.N, DOS Blocker, and Kernel Blocker.
"What are these?" Matt asked.
"Well, the two blockers will help stop hackers that you might run into." Nate explained as Matt downloaded the files. "And A.N.N has a list of websites you can search to find codes. If you get 8 codes, then you can enter them and get to the red room. You can use the notepad on your computer to get them down somewhere."
"Okay then. Nate, promise to stick around?" Matt asked.
"Promise. Oh, and just in case this whole thing is true, watch out for kidnappers, like the guy that took Jason."
Matt nodded and moved the mouse over to A.N.N. Stephanie placed her hand on his shoulder and nodded.
Then Matt clicked on the shortcut.
