Hank's New Goal(Hank the Octopus X Human Reader story)

The Amazing Marine Institute of Cleveland! Pt.2

~Hank's P.o.V.~

We had finally got to the institute and I was so happy cuz I had barely got any sleep on the trip over here so I was literally jumping for joy cuz I couldn't wait to get into my own tank and get some shut eye. All the other fish in the truck were happy too, like they were so happy that they were chanting and yelling and I nearly wanted to yell at them to shut the hell up! But like I had said before, I was trying to keep my anger under control.

~Normal P.o.V~

It was 6 in the morning and all the workers of the Institute were getting ready for the day. Everybody was working hard until one employee named LJ got a call on their walkie talkie to make their way down to Quarantine. When she got there, she saw that everybody was getting ready for something so she decided to go ask (Your friends name) about what was going on since (she/he) was the only person there that she knew.

"Hey (YF/n), what's going on. Are we getting a new shipment in today?"

"Sadly, yes. And the worst part is, is that it's gonna be a big one which means we're probably gonna be here for awhile"

"Really?! I wonder what specimens were getting this time cuz if I remember correctly, last time we got a giant squid that tried to nip at our fingers and then we got a full shipment of different colored starfish!"

"Well one things for sure, I had heard that there was an octopus that snuck on board while the workers were loading up the truck. So when the truck gets here we have to make sure that the octopus is in its tank so that way he or she can be shipped back to the California Institute"

"I didn't know there was an octopus. Who did you hear that from exactly?"

"From the other workers and security. How did you not know about the octopus? Everybody's been blabbering about it since yesterday"

"Dude, I wasn't here yesterday cuz I was spending my time with my family"

"...oh..well NOW you know"

"Ok, so when's the truck supposed to be here?"

"It should be here right about...", (YF/n) was then cut off when some worker came in screaming at the top of his lungs saying, "THE TRUCKS HERE GUYS, SO HUTTLE UP AND GET READY CUZ ITS GONNA BE A BIG ONE!!"

After he said this, (YF/n) saw you come running in with a worried look on your face, then when you saw us you came running up to us very frantically.

"WHATS WRONG?! WHAT HAPPENED?! I GOT A CALL ON MY RADIO SAYING THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING GOING DOWN IN QUARANTINE!"

"(Y/N) CHILL! The only thing that's going down is that there's a new shipment so you're good, ok", Both LJ and (YF/n) said trying to calm you down.

"Oh, ok good cuz I thought there was like a sick fish or something like that"

The 3 of us then saw two workers go up to the shipment sliding doors(idk what their called, sorry😂)and then lift them up to show the inside of the truck.

"You guys ready?", LJ asked both you and (YF/n)

"As we'll ever be", and that's when we all started unloading.

The one thing that we didn't know though was that Hank was in his tank, but he was camouflaged cuz he knew that the people that worked here would know to be on alert, making sure he got home to the other Institute. While he was in his tank, people started walking into the truck and grabbing tanks. He could see that there was a total of 6 people helping out with moving the tanks out from the truck.

One of those people though caught his eye... It was a (female/male) with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. To be honest, he found the (woman/man) to be very (beautiful/handsome) and he couldn't help but just stare at (her/him) cuz (she/he) was the most dazzling thing he'd ever seen. The best part was, was that you were going right over to the tank that he was in.

When you picked up the tank, it felt heavy but you thought it was just due to how much water was in the tank. You went over to a supervisor and asked them where you needed to take the tank.

"Take the tank with the Blue Tang in it to the Rehab Pool area for now cuz I gotta go through and see where I need to put'em"

You nodded and started making your way to the Rehab Pools, not knowing that Hank was still staring at you in admiration.

(Welp, I've gotta say this was a very LONG chpt. But I did it like this cuz I know I haven't updated in a while now so I thought that it would be fair if I made you guys a longer chpt. Also I bet you guys are just like "FINALLY! Senpai notices me!" or something like that. Ok, so anyways tell me what you guys think in the comments and let me know if you guys want me to add something cuz I'm willing to take any request from you guys out there and I hope you've had a super sparkly day!
