Chapter 1: Jason (Unedited)

Hi everyone! This is my first chapter and story! Hope you enjoy !

Kate's POV:
I known Jason since I was three. well that's when I remember first knowing him . Mom says I known him since I was a little baby. mom was best friends with his mom. Jason lived right next door he still is. me and him are still neighbors had been like all my life. The earliest memory I have with Jason was when our families decided to go to the beach together. it was a very long time ago I was three and he was four just like my brother Ben.

Ben and Jason were always enemies even when they were little kids. they would always fight. while me and Jason were best buddies. we always hung out . So that day Jason asked me if I loved him I answered yes then he kissed me and grabbed my hand . I'm sure he doesn't remember it but I do. I don't think Jason really feels that way anymore but I do. He always thought of me just as a best friend . I never told this to anyone even my other best friend Fiona. I would have told her but I can't trust her with my secrets. She can gossip. that's her number one fave thing to do. I rather keep that's secret to my self to be on the safe side. :)

I woke up early today. I been thinking about Jason his beautiful hair ,his sparkly blue eyes ,his smile.Everything is so perfect about him. I wished we could have been more than friends.That's impossible tho. He is captain of the basketball team. He has the looks,the muscle.he has everything. if it weren't of him I would never been popular. I would just been considered as a bookworm or nerd. he helped me like that. everyone thinks I'm lucky to be his best friend some guys are even jealous. Well I don't feel lucky at all I think his girlfriends lucky. Of course she's the captain of the cheerleading squad with her fancy twirls and jumps. all the guys look up at Jason even if they don't admit it . they know they want to be like him. oh no I'm gonna be late to school to much daydreaming .

Someone rings the doorbell oh no I'm the only one home . mom and dad are at work and Ben is somewhere with his girl friend. I'm still in my pjs . "wait up" I Holler us loud as I can. hopefully whoever was there can hear me. I quickly put on a regular t shirt and jeans I wore yesterday .

I quickly ran down the stairs and opened the door . And guess who was there. Of course it was Jason picking me up like he usually does. he came with his girlfriend . jealousy grew in my eyes . that could have been me . Why did he have to date Hannah ? just because she is on the cheerleading squad doesn't mean anything . I known him longer he just met her last year. She should keep her hand off my boy.
