"Jealousy"

• Aira's pov •

I was tidying up my books in the locker when someone patted my shoulder.

"How's the mission going, slave?", I gritted my teeth when I heard Sara's voice

"Surprisingly going well", I tried to sound confident

"Didn't think you would actually make it this far, but let me warn you. Hyungwon's a player, he toys with you until he gets what he's after, then you're out", she smirked evilly, "Don't get too cocky or comfortable just yet"

"Don't pretend like you know shit about him, Sara. It's over between you two anyways", I coldly stated as she grabbed my collar

"Don't you dare bail on the mission! I want him to suffer and I want him back!", Sara's grip got tighter and I let out a whimper

"L-let me go..", Sara was strong and she's jealous, which made her hundred percent more scary

To my surprise, someone yanked Sara away and stood in front of me with his back facing Sara, covering me from her.

"Get your hands off my girl, slut", Hyungwon gave her cold stare causing her to shiver.

"Hyungwon oppa! how dare you call me slut! You loved me back then", she cried

"Loved? never did and never will. Touch her again, you're dead", Hyungwon dragged me away as I watched Sara both shocked and angry, shooting daggers at me.

Hyungwon dragged me to the rooftop where he just stare at the view and give me silent treatment, it really bothered me.

"Thankyou for earlier", I started the conversation but remained silent.

Did he heard all the things Sara said?

"You're mad aren't you? What did I d-", he turned to me and leaned closer while I shut my mouth immediately

"What did you do yesterday?", he stared deeply in my eyes and I gulped hard

"I'm sorry I didn't answer your-", I got cut off again

"I ask what did you do yesterday, Aira", his voice is deeper this time, more intimidating

"Ehm I-I was resting at home because I got flu", I avoided his gaze and he lifted my chin up

"With who?", his gaze intensified

Should I tell him? But what will happen to Minhyuk?

I was hesitant but he repeated his question, louder this time. I was about to say Min and he just screamed

"I KNEW IT THAT BASTARD", he clenched his fists and turned around when I caught him

"Where do you think you're going?", he didn't answer and yanked my grip, I caught him again

"I swear I won't ever talk to you again if you do something reckless", I let go of his arm as he turned around to face me, he sighed deeply

"Why did you protect him that much? do you care for him?", his eyes were a bit red

"Yes, as a friend. I'm sorry that I didn't text or call you yesterday, I was just tired and Minhyuk came to comfort me as a friend, that's all it is. He even went home early. So drop this jealous attitude, I don't like it", his face finally softened as he wrapped his arms around me

"Jealousy sucks, it took up all my energy and strength", I giggled at his words but my smile went straight down as guilt starting to come to me like storm. I'm sorry Hyungwon, but I need to be free from Sara's grip...
