(Part 1)
I grabbed my katana and wore a leather armor the tailors made.
Finally, an adventurer party was made and I'm going to join them in their first expedition.
I heard their training was managed strictly by the Military Advisor.

"Good hunting, Tokiya-sama."(Liyette)
"Yeah, pay attention to your classes, okay?"(Tokiya)

I'm sending Liyette to the Magic Company.
Since she got an apprentice wand, I thought maybe she'll learn some magic.
It may help her out in the future.

I arrived at the western gate.
There's a group of teenagers wearing armors.
2 guys and 1 girl.

"Your Majesty."(???)

They bowed down.

"Stand."(Tokiya)
"Your names?"(Tokiya)
"I'm Rou(ロウ). This guy here is Kichi(キチ). That girl is Kanami(カナミ)."(Rou)

There's a halberd behind Rou.
He looks really smart.
A leader type, I guess.
Kichi is holding a really big shield and a big axe.
His body is huge!
Like really tall and it's really muscular.
Kanami is holding a bow and there's some arrows on her back.

"Very well, let's do our best."(Tokiya)
"Yes, Your Majesty!"(All)

We went inside the forest.
It looks really spooky...

It's really quiet here...

"Our objective is to gather some herbs and kill some monsters to decrease the monster population a little."(Tokiya)
"Yes, Your Majesty."(All)

After walking for awhile, we spotted a boar.

"Boar meat...."(Kichi)

Kichi is drooling....
Kanami immediately climbed up a tree and drew her bow.
She's really agile.
She aimed carefully....

*Shoot*

The arrow went through the boar's skull.
It died immediately.

"Good job."(Tokiya)
"Thank you, Your Majesty."(Kanami)
"Kichi, your job."(Rou)

Kichi carried the boar on his shoulder like it was nothing.
How!?
It's a freaking boar!

Anyway, we continued our exploration.
On our way, we managed to find some herbs and collected them.
Then, we found a cave.
There's a lot of goblins wandering around.

"Must be their base."(Rou)
"Yeah, should we attack?"(Kanami)
"No, we can't win with these numbers. Besides, we shouldn't attack them. They may go on a rampage and cause damage to the city."(Tokiya)
"Agreed."(Rou)

We walked around a bit.
Then, we found a lake.

"Let's rest for a while."(Tokiya)

We sat down and ate some rations we brought.

"Now that I think of it, isn't this the lake mentioned in that folk tale?"(Kanami)
"What folk tale?"(Tokiya)
"The elders in the city always said that there is a god that dwells in this forest."(Kanami)
"They say it lives near a lake."(Rou)

"That tree looks funny."(Kichi)

Kichi pointed at a tree.
It was a huge tree.
There's a face on the tree.
It looks like a really old man.

"That.....looks creepy."(Kanami)
"Yeah, it looks alive."(Rou)

It's not a normal tree.
That's what popped into my mind when I saw that tree.
I walked towards it.

"Your Majesty?"(Rou)

I lean out my hand and touched it.
Then, I felt something flowing into my body through my hand.

It was when I first came into this world.

The trio ran towards and stood in front of me.

"I see. You're the god of this forest."(Tokiya)
"Fufufu. Technically, I'm just a guardian deity."(???)

A tree as a guardian deity eh...

"It's been a while since I was awake. 300 years, maybe?"(???)

"So much has changed since I slept. Did you people came from the village next to the forest?"(???)
"Yes, but it's not a village. It's a kingdom."(Tokiya)
"A kingdom.....I see...Humans are still evolving till now...."(???)

Zanarkia was a village 300 years ago?
Judging from Rou's expression, he didn't know either.

"Looks like there are a lot of pests residing in my forest now...."(???)

Goblins?

We walked back to the kingdom with the herbs and the boar.
Then, I went back to the palace.
I didn't even draw my sword...

Liy welcomed me back at the gate.

"Welcome back, Tokiya-sama!"(Liyette)
"How was your study?"(Tokiya)
"It was a little hard...."(Liyette)
"Don't worry, take your time."(Tokiya)

We went inside and had lunch.
I have a lot of meetings later....
Being a king is so hard!!
