"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
-Steve Bartkowski

My next few classes I made it through and surprisingly haven't been kicked out yet. I was walking towards the cafeteria, when I saw my brother. I kept my head down and walked quicker. He was walking down the hallway with his new group of friends. I pushed through them and heard them yell out complaints.

I didn't look back. Shoving my hands in my pockets I continued on my way towards the lunch room. Avoiding the urge to look back in case he saw me. I moved through the crowds and I waited in line for my lunch but it didn't look to appealing so I threw it out.

I spotted my brother again as I was making my way out. He was with the guys from earlier but now they had flocks of girls surrounding them. A thought suddenly popped into my head.

"Don't waist your time, he has been here all of a week and is already one of them." I turned to the side and saw a girl standing next to me. She had burgundy hair that reached her mid back and chocolate brown eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"I saw you eyeing the new guy. Don't waste your time he hasn't payed anyone any attention since he got here." Once I processed what she said I started to laugh. I shook my head.

"No, trust me, that's not why I was looking. I was just thinking of how I could get through the whore heard." I said glancing back at the crowd looking for any entrances

"So you do want to talk to them?" My eyes found hers.

"Somethings like that." I smirked. And I spotted my opening. Or so I thought.

"I'll be back." I told her as I headed over towards their table.

I tried getting through and the first few times I asked nicely the first couple times but now I was tired of their ignorance and was pushing my way through. I made it to the front of the crowd and spotted Clay talking to one of the boys I ran into in the hall, completely ignoring the blonde throwing herself at him. Perfect. I walked up behind him and slipping between him and the blonde and onto his lap.

"If I get skank disease from walking through them to get to you trust me you don't wanna know what's going to happen." I say crossing my arms. He didn't say anything.

"I'm starting to feel unloved. I came all this way the least you could do was say hi." I poured with a wine. I looked up into his eyes and fluttered my l lashes upping the drama to drastic levels of proportion. The blonde huffed probably done with being ignored and walked away the herd following suit.

"Ta-ta. Nice meeting you!" I called after her with a finger wiggling wave. I might have also thrown in a slight smirk for good measure.

"Thank God. I could feel my IQ dwindling away just by having them so close." Clay smiled while rolling his eyes and pushing me off of him. I landed on the bench in the blondes recently vacated seat.

"What do you want Doe?" He smiled

"How do you know that I wanted something?" He just raised his eyebrows.

"I need your keys. The food sucks here and i'm starving. They're not were they normally are." his eyes widened and he quickly checked his pockets.

"Here, i found it?" I questioned innocently pulled his wallet from my back pocket and threw it on the table. Although I don't think he bought my act any more than the blonde did.

"You found it? Where?"

"Your back pocket." I shrugged. I held out my hand "Keys." He pulled them out just about to give them to me than quickly pulled it back.
