Enemy

Jaden was down and Clear was in shock. The shot had come from directly outside the junk shop. Clear was in a haze the only thing he thought was he had to get to jaden. Jaden lie on the floor in front of him the blood from the gunshot wound pooling on the floor. Clear ran to jaden and pulled him behind the counter as fast as he could he knew there was not much time to act he wasn't sure how many were outside and weither or not he was going to fire again. Clears panicked breaths are all thay Allred heard in all re brief silence. He's holding Jaden in his arms trying to make sense of the situation but he's so frightened and confuse he can't think straight. So many emotions were racing through clears head all at once, one of the curses of being so human. Clear took a death breath he didn't hear anything out side so he took time to assess the situation clearly. Jaden wasent fatally wounded so he had to calm down because righr now Jaden needed him and he also needed to start worrung about the new enemy outside as well. Clear thought quickly. He ripped a sleeve of his lab coat off and turnacated Jadens wound to slow the bleeding. Jaden was unconcious from the shock and pain of being shot. This would help clear because Jaden would be at risk if he were scared and panicking. Clear now focuses his attention outside but when he try to listen all of a sudden the enemy starts opening fire at the spot that clear was last at.
*Clear* Huff huff They must not know where I am.
Clears hearing was better then most people so when the shots stopped after tearing up almost half the shop around them he heard a man yelling.
*Man's Voice* STOOP STOOOOOOP!!!! HOLD YOUR FIRE YOU IMBECILES! the boss wants them alive! What the hell is wrong with you!
*Other voices* s....sorry sir we thought you know he was armed so..
*Man's Voice* Shut up and secure the perimeter!
The rude man yelling must have been commanding them. Clear slowly and careful leans around the counter to get a look at his attackers while still holding jaden tight in his arms. He's sees four men dressed in what looked like army uniforms. But they were altered somehow they had been graffitied on and torn alittle and they wore masks with scary looking demons painted on them.
Just then Clear recognized them.
*Clear* (Gasp) wastelanders.
Clear knew well who they were these were the men who were part of alittle faction during the panic when humanity was still dwindling. They were evil men they plundered and raped and killed all the innocent people who were trying to survive. He'd witness it before. Horrible things. They tortured innocent men women and children for days under the order of a man people called the demon king. Clear was I hiding during all of this and he was weak from losing his family and friends but every day he heard the screams of people on the outside and news from survivors who weren't dead yet about them. Clear had only run into them once before as well that's how he knew who they were. He was not mistaken this was them. Clear refers to them as wastelanders because they live off the land that's left now but he had no clue how they were still around. It's been years how were they still alive.
Clear now knew his situation just became extremly dangerous. He remained silent trying not to give away his position all tho he knew they knew where he was.
*Man's Voice* Hey! We know your in there! come on out now! If you come peacfully we promise not to hurt you. We just want the boy.
They were talking about Jaden but what did they want with him. There was no way clear was gonna had his Beloved jaden over to those monsters he remained silent.
*Man's voice* If you don't come out were gonna come in there and take him from you......Clear.
Clear Gasped
*Clear* How does he know my name.
Clear was shocked how could the man know his name were they sent there for him and jaden he must know who he was which means they didn't only want Jaden. Clear was frightened he didn't have enough energy to run away.

He was angry at the thought of how weak the years have made him clear was no more stronger then a human now. He Hadent been able to use his super human strength in a long time since his power cells started having to be recharged and for once in his life he was actually scared. Clear didn't know what to do he knew what these men were capable of but he still couldent fathom how the man knew his name.
Clear thought foe a sec them finally opened his mouth.
*Clear* H....how do you know me!?
*Man's Voice* We have your file here.....mmmmmm....you're a very very old man Clear hahahah.
A the wastelanders start laughing mockingly.
*Clear* My file?
*Man's Voice* I also have been alive for a long time.....brother.
Clears eyes open wide from that last remark he hears the man approach and stand in the doorway and take off his mask. And waht clear sees when he looks out from his cover he alsmost falls to his knees In shock.
*Clear* N....no it can't be.
It was on of the two alphas Toue created to hunt clear down and reprogram him his brother and fellow machine.
*Alpha* Give up clear its over your not strong enough to escape.
Clear is in disbelief.. how....how was he still alive he killed them both back at the Oval tower.
Clear had to escape he knew what would happen if they fell here Jaden would be taking and they'd force clear to torture him. He had to fight his way out not with strength he remembered he had his rifle on him and a ace up his sleeve from before he left the apartment.
Clear deadly silent pulls a pin of some sort from his sleeve and tosses something to the alphas feet.
*Alpha* ?!
(Explosion)
Smoke instantly fills the air.
*Alpha* Smoke grenade seriously... tying on those tricks you fool.
Suddenly clear opens fire with his rifle. He fires four shots and he hears the alpha retreat behind the vehicles he saw outside with his men behind them. Clear remebered a little door in the back aoba showed him thay he could use now to escape. Clear acts quickly and behind the smoke screen he quickly makes his escape with jaden on his back. The motorcyle was out front and now was a lost cause. Clear would never make it on foot and even worse there were more men waiting for him outside. Clear quickly ducks behind cover as the me. Open fire with automatic rifles. Clear puts jaden down and quickly returns fire two shots, 3, 4 he hits his mark all 4 men fall to the ground in a bloody mess. Clear had to hesitation he couldent feel bad for them... he knew what kind of sins they were guilty of what kind of animals they were plus he couldent reason with them not with Alpha running the show. Clear recovered and grabbed jaden running to another abondoned vehicle. Clear had to break the window out of the car he kept this vehicle back here for emergencies but it was locked so he had to hotwire the car to start. He can hear the men advaning from the other side of the building clear lust the old car into gear and speeds off now avoiding the gunfire and ricochets of bulllets.
This was it clear couldent go back to the apartment yet he had another sage haven on the west side of the city Koujakus old salon he could hide there for now. He lost his attackers pretty quickly but he couldent help but feel the sense of danger was still lurking around the corner. But luckly they weren't followed clear carried jaden up the stairs and enters the salon locking the doors and barracading them.
*Clear* Ha ha huff huff ....I think we're good....for now.
Jaden hadent woke yet now was a good time to treat his wounds. Clear searched around the old salon for a first aid kit. Koujaku kept one behind the counter for emergencies. He grabbed some gauss and needle thread, anticeptic and bandages and treated Jadens wound with expert skill. He had to wait till jaden woke and he needed to recharge himself to the Alpha and his men were searching for them the thought made him uneasy he was afraid to sleep but he needed energy. Clear would shut is eyes for a couple hours. He slept nestled next to jaden and kissed jaden on the forehead lightly Before he dozed off. The trouble had passed for now but tomorrow would breed new problems as soon as they stepped out that door. For now all clear could do was hope that Jaden was awake when he woke and that they'd still be safe....
