Chapter 3: The Look in His Eye
[ Jaden's POV ]
The day I stared into his big blue eyes I knew that I'd never forget him. On the long train ride to Hogwarts, I sat opposite of him, this gorgeous boy. He reminded me of a dementor, but in a good way, not the sucking out your happiness kind of way, but in his otherworldly nature.
He was tall and gaunt with wavy obsidian hair and his eyes...oh his eyes were the most magnificent shade of blue there could be. Full of a dull light but curiosity and fierceness that cut into my very soul.
Their ferocity excited me to the point that I could hardly contain myself. I had to bite the inside of my cheek to stop myself from blushing. They were so animal...so beautiful.

When it finally dawned on me that we were placed in opposing houses, I was in so much distress that I couldn't eat for a week. He was a Slytherin and I am just a Gryffindor....
I didn't even know his name but I was so stuck on this boy. I barely knew him but we were already being separated... Why do these things always happen to me? Why can't I just have something I want for once? Why can't I have him!?

It's been 5 years now, and I haven't even learned his name. He avoids me... Maybe this is all in my head. Maybe we didn't have any connection what-so-ever on the train. What if he hates me?
All I know is that even if he DOES hate me...I could never hate him. My love has already endured these past 5 years, it won't fail me now.
