Chapter 5: Hello Gorgeous

[ Jaden's POV ]

Today is the monthly Gryffindor & Slytherin Boy's Room Exchange. I never really knew why we did it, but I liked this time the most. I finally get to see that handsome boy, even if it may only be for a fraction of a second. And even if it may only be from a distance, I still love seeing him.

The Professor lined up the fifth year Gryffindor boys and the fifth year Slytherins facing each other down the hallway. He then proceeded to announce the new rooms.

"Liner! Yukina! Bousis! And Reed! Room 26!"

I bit my lip. I knew I was going to be in the next room. I braced for impact.

"Renius! Thed! Burnous! And Meyb! Room 27!"

I sighed. This is going to be a long week. I only know Christopher Meyb from my potions class. Who the hell were Burnous and Thed? I guess I'll find out later.

As the Professor was calling out the last room assignments I stole a quick glance down the hall. There he was, the gorgeous Dementor himself.

I sighed silently to myself. If only I knew his name, it would make a world of difference for me.

I was brought back to attention as a whistle was blown.

"Now get to your rooms and get acquainted!"

We quickly dispersed and went to our assigned rooms. I went upstairs to room 27 and opened the door. Christopher Meyb was already making his bed. He turned to me and smiled.

He waved, "Sup Renius! Guess we're roomies!"

Christopher was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. His long golden locks hung around his pale face like golden waterfalls. His bright brown eyes were always laughing.

But even with his stunning good looks and amazing sense of humor, let's just say he isn't the sharpest wand on the rack.

"So, do you know the other two Slyths? I have no idea!"

He laughed as he stuffed his bedside drawers with his clothes. He placed a small picture of his little sister on top of his drawer and sat down.

"Ahhh~ These beds are so comfy! Feel 'em, Renius!"

I smiled and sat down on the bed. The bed felt like heaven on earth.

"Wow! These HAVE to be charmed!"

Suddenly, the door to the room opened and a small boy came in. He glared about until his eyes settled on Christopher and I. He mumbled under his breath as he went over to a bed.

"Hey dude, what's your name?" Chris tried to be friendly, but was taken aback by the boy's shrill voice.

"Thed...Morgane Thed."

The boy could have been a third year with his stature. But even with the major height difference, he could definitely hold his own in the room just with his glare. He had short cut black hair and angry green eyes. His mouth was set at a permanent frown and he had a habit of crossing his arms and tapping his foot.

His voice was the only interesting thing about him really. It was shrill, kind of like a banshee, but less intense. Even though it was shrill and cruel, it still held a nice ring to it.

Chris smiled and walked over to him. He extended his hand,

"Nice to meet ya, Morgane! I'm Christopher, but you can call me Chris!"

The boy mumbled, "P-please call me Thed..."

He took Chris's hand softly before going back to unpacking. Chris smiled and turned back to sit next to me. He whispered into my ear softly.

"He's not as tough as he looks. He is probably just making up for his height, don't worry about it."

I guess Chris had seen my worried expression and wanted to ease me. I silently thanked him for that.

There was a soft knock on the door and it opened with a tiny creak. I turned to see the last roommate, Burnous I think it was?

My eyes almost popped out of my skull when I saw the head of my darling Dementor poking into the room!
