(Freak's Pov)
The light was blinding. everything was white and it felt like i was floating. I felt so..... free, i guess. Like i didn't have a care in the world. The light was warm. It made me feel safe as it covered my body in it's glory. I never wanted to leave. I wanted to stay here forever, living peacefully and contempt with my life and it's choses.
" you don't want that, little one" came out of no where. It echoed in this warm place and made me question why I wouldn't want to stay in this beautiful place.
" Because you have a life to fulfill and would never be able to do it here. our mate is out there in the world, not here." I finally pin pointed where it was coming from. a black form was slowly growing to a humugus size. wait mate? Jake? Why would i want him?
laughter echoed around us. "no little one, not Jake. Our true mate. You have a werewolf mate and a demon mate. I would never want you to go back to that asshole." finally the figure cleared and there before me was a women with wings coming from her back. they were lit on fire and danced in the air. It was so beautiful. she was ugly yet easily the most beautiful thing i had ever seen.
"why thank you freak, you probably won't see me often since i'm mainly in your head but still it's nice to hear every once in a while." she said with a smile curving her lips.
"Phenex?" i asked as the puzzle peices finally clicked.
"yes child, it's me." a smirk over took her face.
" what is this place? why are we her?" this place was so different. butterflies flowed through the air leaving trails of color in the air as the moved. there was a tint of darkness to the beauty though. It made it all the more fascinating.
" to heal, little one. your mind needs to repair from the switch we had. your in the place where i live. This is the place where all your dreams and nightmares are stored. your house of everything that you think isn't a part of your reality. very full actually." she mused looking around. trees were growing from the ground along with grass, vines, and flowers. the sun shimmered down on a pool of water. It was so peaceful.
"But this all seems real." was all i could think to say.
" ahhh but to you in your mind it's not. this is a happy life. where love is true and dreams are reality. This is the place you wish with all your might was reality." she whispered extending her arms.
"so how do i get out of here?" this place was starting to creep me out. it was way to perfect. everything was like a dream come true.
"you must tear down the walls between your dreams and reality. you have to allow them to connect. it will not only let you take control again but also give you more power so you can heal faster. right now you lay in a hospital bed surronded by your true friends and our mate." she answered. stepping back. the pool below us shimmered and glowed. it cleared to show me laying in a hospital bed. Ivory, Raven, and blaze where there standing off to the side staring at me with worried looks. but they didn't hold my attention.
