D.A.R.P.A base, Cliffside/ Maine: July 30th2013, 3:42 Pm

General Arcane had been expecting much when he had been told that a D.A.R.P.A research lab hidden with the base had been compromised.

He had figured that it might have been F.E.I.N.D, or some other shady groups doing...but all those thoughts disappeared when he saw the base.

The holes in the concrete, and the walls of the base and its reinforced perimeters...it looked like someone or something sprinted across the front lawn and bolted right through the steel enforced wall.

Cheap suits should have upgraded to diatitanium...what the heck could have caused this?

Arcane stopped looking around at the destruction and took notice of the Master General approaching him, who soon after gave Arcane a salute.

"At ease soldier..." Arcane dismissed, "what can you tell me about what happened here?"

"Only that my men and I were doing our evening rounds when it happened, some big thing burst out the base, went through that wall...we lost the trail by the ocean cliffs three miles away. But what we do know is that it started in the Basement lab complex a few hundred feet below us."

"What were they working on?" Arcane asked, he then noticed one of the scientists in the crowd near the two of them, he stopped him in transition "what were you people working on?!"

"That's classified information, you don't have authority to..." the unnamed scientist protested.

"Young man, don't pull the "Jurisdiction" on me. You have no idea who you're dealing with...now what were you all working on!" General Arcane said fiercely.

The scientist gulped, and then spoke "we were working on Project: Brawl"

"What's "project: Brawl"?" asked Arcane.

"It's a division of an experiment to create a compound that could improve the human condition and its errors" the scientist explained.

"Create "super soldiers" you mean, the military never builds anything meant for the public..." General Arcane paused, "my god, you actually did it didn't you?"

"Yes we did, but somehow he got loose" the scientist answered.

"He?" inquired General Arcane.

"General!" shouted one of his TechNet agents; he was running with a file folder in his hands.

Once he had reached Arcane, he showed his superior the file folder "we found this, on two army men's persons up on the second floor. Look...the blueprints and notes; they have our organizations insignia on them! According to our TechNet scientist's scouring the remains of the lab down below...whatever the "Brawl" was in Project: Brawl...its creation got its help from this."

"I never approved funding for any "Super-soldier" experiment to D.A.R.P.A...." Arcane said as he surveyed the notes, "how could...?"

Arcane froze once he realized what he was looking at in the notes attached to D.A.R.P.A's notes on Project Brawl; they were the notes on the M-Gene and M-Radiation from Dr Marcus's notes!

How was that possible, when he had the whole file deleted two years ago?

The only place this could have been reproduced was by retrieving the original files that he had stored in S.L.E.E.T's secret Vault, and even if not from there. The only other way one could recreate those files would be via the S.L.E.E.T Master computer of S.L.E.E.T's whole security network. Since that was next to impossible, he figured someone must have bribed a less than trustworthy member of his staff.
