"Do you see him, Poseidon?"

"Yes Zeus, we can all see him."

The boys were hiding behind some crates near the docks, watching the dark lord converse with a shady human. When Hades left early this morning, his brothers hurriedly woke up the others and followed him to the wharf. They made sure that they kept their distance as far as they can for the ex-lord of the underworld could sense them within a mile away, and the fact that if he were to find out that they have violated his orders…tartarus is just right around the corner for them.

"Father, I really don't think this is a good idea." whispered Apollo while glancing at his Uncle.

Hermes nodded. "I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm with Apollo on this one. It's fun and all but, if it's Uncle Hades," he mouthed his last words "we're going to die!"

"We're going to buy?" asked Dionysus.

He whispered it. "We're going to die!"

Dionysus face lit up. "We're having pie!"

He repeated with a louder voice. "We're going to die!"

He cocked an eyebrow. "...You have lice?"

Hermes hit his head on the crate beside him before shouting "WE'RE GOIN-" he was quickly cut off by Ares' hand.

"Hermes, you'll blow our cover!" whispered Poseidon.

"He's looking!" exclaimed Apollo who was fidgeting non-stop.

And true, the dark lord and his company were looking over the piles of crates meters away, luckily, they soon returned to their conversation.

Zeus managed to breath, he wouldn't admit it but he was also getting anxious. He glared at his son and said in low voice "Keep your voice down!"

"Maybe we should tape his mouth, Dad!" said Ares while still gripping his struggling brother.

"Uncle's gone." stated Dionysus which made the others' attention directed to the deserted place.

Poseidon muttered "Oh my Chaos…"

"Is he…" Ares glanced at them.

Apollo gulped before continuing "…right behind us?"

Everyone, slowly, turned their heads around, expecting the dark forces of the world and its dear master standing behind them,

*WOOF*

But instead it was just a dog, to their luck. They slumped on the crates and managed to breath. The canine went to Hermes and smelled him.

He chuckled and rubbed its head. "I don't have any snack for you, big guy."

Ares read its dog tag. "Mulciber…what kind of name is this?"

Apollo took the tag from him and muttered "I think I've heard of this name before…if I remember-"

Zeus interrupted "You'll have to say goodbye to your little friend cuz' we need to get going," He and Poseidon stood up and made their way to the docks.

"Aww~ but I wanna keep him!" exclaimed Hermes.

"If you bring him with us, he'll die! Besides, his owner might be nearby,"

The boy sighed. "Alright." He called his brother "C'mon Dionysus,"

Dionysus said "Bye-bye doggie!" It barked at him and he waved before catching up with them. He went behind his father and asked "Hey Dad, what's the plan?"
