After the night settled in -- this place did have a moon at least, today it was nestled hight above them. The fullness of it lighting up the ground as she walked down the walkway through the now quiet roads. Everything near the cafe she was at closed for the evening.

Am I just missing parts of my mind? She grabbed for the gold chain once again. The metal still cold just like it was when it bounced against her flesh just the evening before. It was night time and then day time here. She tightened her grip against the chain. Eliza promised to get her a pendant for the chain when she saved enough for it.

"What is your favorite color, Kats?" Eliza asked at Belyn lake. Her head nestled against Katrina's head, her arm tightly hugging against her shoulders. It was a hot day that day, the hottest of all summers. The water hardly worthwhile in regards to coolness but they were desperate to get away from the heat -- to get away from everything.

"Emerald, the color of the forest."  She pulled away from Eliza just for a moment to look at her curiously before drawing herself back into her embrace, "You should already know that."

Eliza lifted slightly, moving the hand resting under head bringing it down to touch Katrina's collarbone gently. Her fingers danced acrossed it until she reached almost mindlessly to the chain that she had purchased last summer. Her hand  dropping so, following the chain whereever it was going, until hesitantly touching just before her breasts.

"That was real." Katrina said out loud to the hissing cat on the balcony just above her, "Every second of that day was real."

"Fuck." A young man  who just turned down the walkway. He froze mid puff of his cigerrate, they both looked at eachother waiting for the other to react.

"You can see me?" She perked up, picking up her pace. The young man turned on his heels no longer interested in going that way. In her new state she realized she was moving a great deal faster, This could have been useful sooner. But no matter she needed to get to him to explain who and what she was doing there no matter what. He had to listen, surely, as she was not meant to be there.

"I need help" She was now a few paces in front of him almost in a jog.

"You all need help." He growled , puffing at his cigeratte once more.

"If it helps you're not my first." She smiled at him, hoping to break the tension. He did smile at least.

As she followed him through the entry to the building-- she was enjoying this walking through things a lot. Up the stairs they went, her chattering and pleading with him throughtout until they hit what looked to be his home. A mustard color door, which reminded her of the way her father cooked -- everything needed either mustard or a pinch of sugar. Is that memory real?

It wasn't as if she couldn't go into his home, suddenly it felt rude. She pushed her hands in a few times and as she was about to tip her foot in the front door slammed opened.

"Just fucking get in here already," He waved at her.  She winced but did so.

"What's your story then." He crashed onto the sofa, grabbed up the remote and began flicking through the channels. The lights from the television bounced around the television, she focused on them almost if a spell had fallen on her. Televisions I recognize that.

"I am not dead. I believe I somehow came through a magical portal from my side, and I would really love to go back."

He stopped turning the channel to look up at her.
