Asa looked hig and low but found no sign of Eliza. It wasn't until he saw a throng of people at the edge of the main street. There stood an ugly wooden stage where they punished people for ridiculously low leveled crimes. On it was Eliza and an elderly mage, Theolyn, who lived off the edge of town. Everyone avoids his house because the story goes a young boy, around 5 years old sneezed too loudly and Theolyn got him a week in the dungeon.

What the ever loving hell.

"This girl," He spat the words out angrily toward the crowd, "claims she has no idea how she came to be in my home!"

He paused pointing at Eliza.

"This girl claims to have been in a friends house, on the sofa and woke up in my home!" He paced toward the edge of the stage, paused, and slowly turned back toward Eliza.

Asa raised his hand. He was taller than most so it wasn't long before he gained everyone's attention, including Theolyn's.

But before he could say anything, the loud  buzzing similiarly to chicadas filled the air -- and Eliza was gone.

It's the stone. He smiled and began fighting his way out from the crowd. It must have accidentally dropped her off at Theolyn's -- and possibly with the extra charge from the stage got her to where she needed to be. Even so, he made his way to Theolyns house just in case it just simply took her back -- but nothing.

He cleared his mind and focused on the spot on the map. He had only teleported once when he first came to be an apprentice ---

He could smell urine and feces, neither of which assured him he was out of the city. When he could focus his eyes -- tall grass and gigantic rocks nestled around him. Sharp tac sized stabbed at his head -- used energy that he didn't have enough off to make the trip but he moved on hoping to find Eliza somewhere around.

He wasn't in a cave, large trees, the sky the flash of sunlight as he walked through it  the rummaging of animals. Birds hollered and sung to one another as he made his way down the best looking path he could find.

Just up a ways he could see the mess of hair that was Eliza's. She was rubbing her  head tentatively. He finally was close enough to holler at her to get her attention. She jumped, looking around frightened until her eyes finally fell on him.

"I though Draugurinn was caves?"

"Yeah, it is." She twirled taking in her surroundings, "At least that is what is on the maps!"

"Hello!!!!" A strange male  voice echoed around them, "Can you help? Hello!"

"Definetely not Katrina." Asa laughed, Eliza nodded solemnly. But without words they headed off in the voices direction -- Eliza shouted as she went along.

The boulders who sat haphazardly where they were slowly shriveled into smaller and smaller rocks until what they were walking on was gravel along the tree lined path. A gust a wind took both them by surprise, tossing the gravel into their faces. They hunched over until they were certain it was done.

Heavy breathing and that same voice shouting for help –

A tall youthful man, with dirty blonde hair stood before a small silver dragon – its claws out. Had it not been for the man’s ugly outfit and screaming they would have missed the dragon entirely as he blended into the dirt quiet beautifully. Even its eyes camouflaged with the rest of its body, had it not been for the flicking of its eyelids, it would look eyeless.

While Eliza marveled at the creature before her Asa was busy securing the strange man’s life.  She had to physically shake to get out of the trance. The strange man fumbled and fell, trying to get as far away from Asa as possible – as if Asa was worse off than being stuck with a Dragon. He was a burly man, with brunette hair curled and twisted every which way as he left it unbrushed and his clothes. His eyes gentle and his voice gruff – but nothing as frightening as a dragon – well at least not for Eliza anyway.
