"You can run away from yourself so often, and so much, just because the broken pieces of you cut your feet too deeply if you stay around for too long. But then what if someone were to come along and pick up those pieces for you? Then you wouldn't have to run away from yourself anymore. You could stop running. If someone sees you as something worth staying with— maybe you'll stay with yourself, too."
- C. Joybell C.Prologue -
Here's some fact for everybody that has not yet been informed about the educational courses called hell; there's something in your first year of high school that every freshman finds out almost immediately.
It's nothing like the way they show it in movies.
To start my proof, I'd like to state that I've been through nearly all the stages of 'hell', and have visual and physical evidence that everything I say is completely, and sadistically correct. Amongst other sixteen-to-seventeen year olds, we're all very excited that in a few weeks school will be out, and we'll be entering our official last year of high school.
In short – I have enough experience to know where I'm going with this.
Movies make high school seem like either the best time of your life (which, it's not), or the absolute worst hell you could ever possibly live through (which, it's not,) and I hold multiple reasons to debunk those myths of slutty-bikini short wearing plastic girls, and those amazing hot, smoking and leather jacket wearing bad boys.
Here's the thing about high school, there's going to be a minority of people that aren't your favorites, doesn't mean there isn't another minority that you accept. There's no point in hiding that a lot of the gossiping and bitching that other people do, you do too. To complain that high school has the worst people you've ever met in your life is basically to go on to say that the whole rest of your life is going to have the worst people you've ever met in your life.
Another thing; nobody actually comes to school with their chests poking out from their 4 by 5 centimeter piece of cloth that barely covers anything, and their mini skirts that are completely transparent. All schools have a dress code, and as dumb as some may be, the Mean Girls movie is totally unrealistic, because Gretchen Wieners has an exposed midriff, and Karen Smith's skirt does not reach her fingertips.
Lastly; no social group is as over-the-top as they make them seem in movies. There are barely any social groups that go against someone just because they like math as much as football, or makeup as much as biology, it's a myth, it doesn't happen, and no one cares which social group you're in, if you're cool, they like you, simple as that.
With all these pointed out, it's still easy to say that coming from a girl in a private school, I haven't seen what public schools do, and how they live high school, whether they have these social groups that outcast boys with glasses, or let girls come in bikinis.
I grew up in the same school since I could walk on two feet and go off without a diaper, and this school had a very clean motive. To educate us, and try to keep us happy. Simple.
This simplicity of things had caused the suicide of Brandy Till.

(We got our main character up there, or at least she looks something like it?
You don't have to follow that character, but when i add the features in the future, it will more or less look like above, just not as pretty, haha.I hope you guys enjoyed this prologue, I'm really excited to start writing this story and I really hope you guys enjoy it too! Thank you for showing that love :>] )
