England's POV

I walked into my room, sighed, sat and started drinking already prepared tea. Suddenly, I heard knocking on my door. I hope it isn't France... "Hm...?"

France's POV

I followed him to his room and knocked. "Hm...?" I heard from the other side and walked in. "Sorry.... I forgot...." I said. We are rivals, but I know this day is really something to him... "Oh.... It's you...." He sounded like he was expecting someone else... Maybe America.... "It's okay...." He said. I know it's not, Iggy. I sigh. "No, it's not......." I grit my teeth for a moment. "....... Would you like some company....? Even though I know you would rather sit there with America....."
"Well................... Okay............." He answered. I light up and walk into the room, then sit next to him.

England's POV

"....." I don't say anything. I just sip my tea. "You weren't this silent for years..." He looks at me, a bit concerned, as it seems.
"Huh...? O-oh... Yeah..." I said. I wasn't paying attention to what he said...... "Really, it's okay. You don't have to be here..." I wanted to be alone, but actually wanted a little company. It was calming...
"No, it's okay." He answered right when I said it. I tried to smile, but couldn't and the smile faded away right away.

France's POV

"..." He seems really sad... Or depressed... I get actually get him... "You're not over it, huh?"
"No... No I'm not. You wouldn't, too..."
"You forget something, Angleterre. I lost Canada back then." I look into ground for a moment, showing a sad smile.... Ah, those memories.... "Sorry, I forgot..." He apologised. "No, it's okay. I am not angry at you. And I am very proud of him."
"Huh.... You should be..." I didn't expect him to say that....
"You should be too. America became a great nation, and that thanks to you.
We did a good job raising these two..."
He didn't say anything, he just stared into ground sipping his tea... Oh Angleterre.... I smiled "Hey, cheer up a bit, I don't know you like that! We should be really proud of them, they would be concerned if they saw us like that!"
And then, suddenly, America walked in....
