Chapter 3

Beep-beep! Beep-beep!

Shut it!

Beep-beep! Beep-beep!

I slam my hand on my alarm clock. I put my hand on my forehead and just stares up at the ceiling.

I really don't wanna go to school. I know that everyone knows what happened, and just feel like I can't deal with that right now.

But I have to. So I throw the cover off me and sits up at the edge of the bed. Staring into my dark room. I reach my bed lamp and a comfortable, cozy and easy light spreads through the room.

Oh I don't wanna do this right now. But even so I drag my lazy ass off the bed and walks up to my closet. I have a big closet full of clothes and shoes.

I pick something out and put them on me, then I walk up to my mirror and start to put on makeup. I put up my long wavy hair in a tassel.

I just feel how I hate my life. What do I have to live for? Blaine and Chrissy. But that's it.

I pack my school bag and walks down to the kitchen. Christian is standing there, making breakfast for Blaine and Chrissy.

"Hi" I say, sitting down at the table, taking an apple from the fruite bowl in the middle.

"Hey Lanie", he says.

I raise my eyebrow. Why is he so happy?

I take a bite at the apple.

"What's the deal with you?" I ask, still with the apple bite in my mouth.

"Nothing, I'm just happy, can't I be?"

"Yeah I guess", I shrug and turn to Chrissy who sits in her high chair beside me.

"Hey sweetie", I say stroking her cheek.

She laughs.

"I can take her to the kindergarten today", I say. "I'm walking by anyway".

"No it's okay, I can take her", Christian says.

I sigh. He makes me crazy! I can't do anything.

"But walk Blaine to school", Christian says.

"Oh. Oh god. Do I actually get to do something?" I ask in pretend surprise.

Christian sighs low.

"Very funny, Lane", he says.

Blainie comes running into the kitchen and sits down on his chair.

"Good morning", he says happily.

Why is everyone so happy? There is nothing happy about another day.

Oh good Lane, you're so positive... I think sarcastically. But how can I be?

"Morning", I say, avoiding the 'good' part.

Christian puts down his breakfast in front of him and he starts eating.

Christian is aboout to feed Chrissy.

"Hey I can do that", I say throwing the last of my apple at him.

"Ow", he says.

He looks hesitant.

"Oh come on you pathetic loser, I'm just going to feed her", I say angry. "She'll sit put in her high chair!"

Christian looks at Blaine to see if he heard me. But he didn't. He's to concentrated on his food. Good, 'cause really, I shouldn't talk talk like that when he's around. I don't want him to pick it up, and Christian doesn't want that either of course.
