This is it.
The day that I've been dreaming of ever since I started high school.
Yearbook Committee sign-ups.
The rush of students down the hall was little-to-none. I can't believe more people didn't sign up for this amazing committee. There's one person that I wouldn't expect to see here. Matt Freaking Kanders.

This, my friends, is the boy I've been ogling over since the 3rd grade. Now, you probably wouldn't think that someone who looks this hideous (with disgusting morning breath from breakfast, mind you) would ever crush on anyone, let alone the Glorious Matt Kanders. Maybe we'd spoken once or twice, despite being in the same class since 3rd grade, but I'd never think that he'd be the person to sign up for the yearbook committee. Well, I thought wrong.

You may be wondering: "Who is this girl?," or "Why is this lame-o writing a story when she could be making actual friends or doing something productive?" Well, to answer the first question, I'm Kayla Greenfeld. I like cats, books, and hot chocolate ('cause coffee's overrated). I'm a dorky Junior that goes to Canflick High (I know, what a name!) and obsesses over all things school-related. You might think that I'm some cool hipster that hangs out with her own group of friends and everybody admires her for being so comfortable. You, my friend, thought wrong. That's basically the opposite of me. Yep, I'm the girl that no-one knows exists other than being the county spelling bee winner (I have 12 trophies in all, so proud) and the one who always sits at the front of the class, always studying or doing work for the teacher. I mean, I'm comfortable, but, it's kinda hard not to wear anything other than over-sized sweaters and skinny jeans when you own nothing other than said items. I'm quite obsessed with Harry Potter. I believe that, if he was real, we would be the perfect couple. I mean, c'mon, we'd be so cute together! Hedwig would be the ring barer and Ron would be the best man! Clearly, you can tell (hopefully), that I've planned our wedding already. Okay, my English teacher is telling us that the bell just rang (I didn't even notice). Time to go home! Yay! Can you sense my sarcasm? Probably not. Okay. I really have to go now. Love youuuuu!! <3<3

So there it is!! The very first chapter of The Room!!!!! I'm so sorry if you think my writing is lame. Feel free to give me constructive advice (no hate comments) down in the comments and I hope you guys enjoy what's to come in the future!! I have so much planned for this story!!! This is my first story so I'm sorry if it kind of sucks, I'm trying my hardest!! I will definitely be writing longer parts in the near future! I didn't want the first part to be super long because I know some people don't have time to read such long parts! Love you guys!
