A week later..

Jasmine's P.O.V

"August it was like he was trying to replace T" I said getting mad all over again.

"Babyeh he not tryna replace T, he just think that because he in ya life now, you need ya other siblings too" August said kissing my neck.

"Ugh this so stressful. I gotta meet them in like a hour too." I said.

"Gone and get dressed den. You know it take bout' a hour anyway." August said as he stopped kissing my neck.

"Your coming too nigga" I said facing him.

"Ight" He said and layed back.

He was already dressed because he just got back this morning. I missed my man so much. I know he had to do business for his music but he had to do some business on me. 🙃

I got in the shower and put something simple on. I wasn't gonna go all out today.

"Finally" August said as he grabbed Mel's carseat and headed to the car.

"Kia are you ready?" I yelled.

"Yes" She said as she ran downstairs.

My baby looked cute.

"You look cute" I said and grabbed her hand.

We all got into the car and were on our way to my dad's condo in Buckhead.

Few moments later..

"Nice to finally meet you August" George said as we walked into his condo.

"Nice ta meet ya man" Aug said.

"I heard good things man. Even the album back in '14" He said.

"I appreciate dat" Aug said smiling.

We all sat down in the living room. My "siblings" weren't here yet.

"This my grandbaby?" He asked as he looked at Kia.

"Yeah, her name is Kia. Kia say hello to your grandpa" I said.

I was thinking in my head that this was going to be so confusing to her. I didn't want her to say the wrong thing and George's feelings will be hurt.

"Hi" She said shyly and snuck behind me.

"Your sister and brother should be here any minute, you guys want anything to drink?" He asked.

"No thank you" Me and Aug said at the same time.

"Okay, but um Jas I wanna get to know you a lil bit more" He said.

"Ask me anything" I said ready.

"You graduated ?" He asked.

"Yes from Clark Atlanta, got my degree in nursing and got me a job at Grady Hospital." I said proudly.

"Wow where'd you work in New York?" He asked.

"At University Hospital" I said.

"Oh okay, I see you making bucks." He said chuckling. "Um how old are you?" He asked.

"I'm 23" I said.

"Wow I missed out on a lot" He said sighing.

"George it's fine, I had a father figure to show me what's right and wrong. And I'd be wrong to sit here and judge you for what you missed out on. It's fine" I said in honesty.

"I just, man can't believe what I did. I wasn't the brightest youngin back in the day. But I could say I changed now" He said.

"I'm glad, we can only move forward" I said.
