I looked up, the alphas angry stare meeting my confused one.

"What are you doing?" He asked, his deep voice breaking the silence.

"I'm looking for my mama," I replied, looking around once again.

He looked at me with a glint in his eyes I could not read, "Your mother is no longer here," He trailed off, as if he wanted to say more.

"What do you mean by that?" I held his gaze as I looked up this time.

He grunted, and brushed off my question, "I need you to do something for me kid."

"What is it?" I asked, standing back up from my crouching position.

His gaze suddenly went serious,"I need you to leave, and never look back," He growled.

"W-why? What did I do wrong?" I whimpered.

"Oh, you did nothing wrong. It's what you're mother did to make this happen," when he finished his sentence, I noticed the pack looking at me in pity.

"Then why do I have to leave?" I cried out.

"Because you're mother has to pay the price for what she did. The Sky-Elders even agree with this." He said, lowering his head and growling at me, making me go stumbling back.

"Th-the Sky-Elders?" I stuttered out.

"Yes, and may you're mother stay in the dark valley for eternity," with that said, the wolves from the pack growled in unison, stepping forward and making me go stepping back.

"You're just a mistake," One said.

"Go back to where you belong," Another said.

I yelped as the alphas snout snapped at me in warning, "Leave now kid if you want to live,"

With that sentence, I ran. I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me. And I took his favor. I never looked back.
