You couldn't help but be concerned for him,

But you also couldn't help being curious.

What the hell was that?

Who is she?

What did she do to him?

What does it matter, you should be dead.

You shook your loud thoughts away.

You were sure that whatever just happened was important,

It had to be, based on his strange reaction

Your mind raced as you tried to figure out the words to say.

You, of course, didn't want to pry

But at the same time you were so desperate for the potentially heartbreaking stories of the broken hearted man sitting next to you

What happened to him?

What happened to you?

When you, finally, opened your mouth to speak,

He turned back to you with his "I hope you can't tell this is fake" smile.

He looked so hurt.

"How are you feeling?" came out of his strangely shaped mouth.

He sounded distant and upset,

But you decided to humor him instead of bombarding him with inquiries.

"I'm alright." you declared in a hoarse voice.

"I'm alright." he quietly repeated.

You both just sat there,

Two small, disturbed, sorrow-filled spirits.

Silent and thinking.

You wanted so much to ask him questions and figure out what in the world has happened to break him.

Though, simultaneously, you wanted just to hold him and assure him that he'll be alright.

What you really wanted was for him to tell you that you will be alright.

Your mind was drifting away,

But the look he gave you was like an anchor to the real world,

And to him.

While holding out his hand to you as yet another tie to reality,

He asked,

"Do you want to go star gazing?"

(A/N: that was yet another installment of trash™, by yours truly. May I add, not long lived trash. That was extremely short I apologize but more chapters are coming [I hope]. Also the format throughout the story changes so much I'm sorry it's terrible. I've also noticed how the main character is seeming SO MUCH like Link from the story Fake Smiles by rhink-trash, which is a great story go read it now please mine is horrid but that story is so great. I, of course, am not trying to do it intentionally. I'm sorry. Anyways please feel free to offer suggestions, or not. Thank you so much for dealing with my *explicit*. Until next time, I hope you are feeling well, I appreciate you all. Sincerely, whatever you want to call me at this point)
