Working Together *Robsten Fanfiction*

(A/N I'm so super sorry if this story is going super slow. Like i know the story has only moved like 19 hours in the course of 3 chapters. So there may be a slight time jump sometime.)

     *rob* 

     I'm not gonna lie and say that I wasn't disappointed when Kris told me what Cathy said, but I understand why. But hey, no one said that we couldn't grab coffee as friends. I wanted to spend some time with her before the movie starts, it'll be good for our characters. I went to my car to grab the extra clothes that I always kept in case of emergencies. I asked Cathy if she had another bathroom I could use and she directed me to it. I brushed my teeth thoroughly. After I hopped into the shower and cleaned myself off. 

     I had forgotten to tell Kristen that I went to take a shower, but I also forgot my clothes in the guest bedroom. I wrapped the towel around my waist and opened the door to see if the coast was clear. I walked to the room cautiously because I didn't want an accidental mishap with the towel. 

     When I opened the bedroom door, Kris was sitting on the bed reading a book and she saw me. 

     "Uh... sorry. I left my clothes in the room. I'm just gonna grab them." She nodded and went back to her book. I looked at her and she was blushing. I walked back into the bathroom and quickly got changed. When I went back into the room, she was still reading that book. "Hey, I'm just really curious, what book are you reading?" She showed the cover. It was Twilight.

     "Uh... just trying to fully understand what Bella feels... about Edward." 

    "Well, what does it say?" She was blushing. She seems to do that a lot, not that I'm complaining because it's adorable. 

     "Well at first she finds him so inhumanly beautiful, and then she's kind of intimidated by him... but you probably already knew that." I hadn't realized we were moving closer to each other until I pulled back and looked at her. 

     "I... I um, have an extra shirt in my car if you want to use it."

     "Yeah, if that's okay with you." I nodded and went back to my car and grabbed a white shirt with the word 'IRIE'  on it. I gave it to her and she paired the shirt with the jeans from the night before. It looked way better on her then it ever did on me. I put on a hat and we were ready to go.

     *kristen*

     I didn't know what to do after I brushed my teeth, so I sat on the bed and read Twilight. I got to the part where Edward and Bella see each other for the first time. Rob came into the room with only a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was still wet and tousled. Not to sound creepy or anything, but his abs were so sculpted and defined. 

     "Uh... sorry. I left my clothes in the room. I'm just gonna grab them." I nodded and went to reading my book, grinning like an idiot, no doubt that I was probably blushing too. He came back shortly and asked about what I was reading. Instead of telling him, I just showed him the cover. 

     "Uh... just trying to fully understand what Bella feels... about Edward." 

     "Well, what does it say?" I started blushing again because the way Bella felt about Edward was the same way I felt about Rob. He sat down next to me on the bed.

      "Well at first she finds him so inhumanly beautiful, and then she's kind of intimidated by him... but you probably already knew that." We were moving closer together. I wouldn't have noticed if he didn't back up. 

     "I... I um, have an extra shirt in my car if you want to use it." Great, now it's awkward. I agreed and he got it for me. When I put it on, it was a little big on me, but I didn't mind. We were just about ready to go, so we gathered our things said bye to Catherine. 

     "Hey Rob. Before you go, can I talk to you for a sec?" Cathy called Rob into her room for what seemed like forever. I didn't think much of it, but I was still kinda curious. He left her room and we went to a small cafe in Los Angeles. 

     "So, last night... you were said something about someone named Michael. Do you mind me asking who he is?" 

     "Well.. he's my ex-boyfriend. We only broke up a couple weeks ago. I started getting busy with work because of all the auditions I had to go through. He didn't like that I was never home so we broke up." It was nothing major. He never hurt me or touched me, but it still hurt that we broke up. 

     "But are you okay now?" He sounded genuine and liked he cared. 

     "Yeah I'm good. I was sad but I'm okay now." We smiled at each other. We ordered some food and ate it, not saying much. It wasn't an awkward silence, we were just enjoying each other's company. We finished eating and Rob paid for our brunch. I offered but he insisted and told me not to fight back, so I didn't. He drove me back to my new apartment and we exchanged phone numbers.

*later that day*

     Robert and I had been texting all day since we had brunch. Until I got a really interesting text from him. 

R- Holy hell. KRIS LOOK AT THE LATEST NEWS ABOUT YOU!

K- Okay, should I be scared?

R- Very!

     I was concerned, but I looked up my name on google anyway. There was a headline on some stupid entertainment blog with my name in it-

     IS OUR SWEETHEART, KRISTEN STEWART, DATING HARRY POTTER STAR ROBERT PATTINSON?!

     Kristen was spotted in a local cafe in Los Angeles with British hunk Robert Pattinson. By the looks of the pictures that were taken by paparazzi, she was wearing one of his white graphic tees. Could he be our new Edward Cullen in the upcoming film Twilight, is there a budding romance between the two stars? 

     No... no, no..
