When I was at Kris' house, she was being kinda distant. I felt like she didn't want to talk to me, or even have me there. That's why I declined when she asked me to stay at her house, I didn't want anything to be awkward. I promised that I would call her when I got home, but I completely forgot. I told her I fell asleep, but really I was looking at all of the controversial articles about me and her.
I hated that they were all saying things that exaggerated the whole situation, but it still made me smile knowing that they were saying that we were cute. Some articles really made me laugh at how ridiculous they were; making up lies saying that Kris was already pregnant, we were getting married, we live together, etc. Regardless of how crazy they were, they all had the same picture. It was of Kris and I leaning over the table and staring in each others eyes.
When she called this morning, she seemed a little worried. She thought something bad had happened to me because I didn't call her yesterday. I assured her that I was fine and I got ready for the day. Because my new apartment was basically empty, due to the fact that I just moved here, I went to the grocery store to pick up things that people usually get; eggs, milk, bread, etc... I was finally alone, without my family, in a different country. It felt sort of weird knowing that I had to be a proper adult if I want to keep working in Los Angeles. I guess there are a few plus sides.

Michael and I went out to lunch acting especially 'couple-ish'. We did all the cliche things you saw couples do, making sure that any paparazzi could take a picture at us at any second. During lunch, all I kept muttering to him were things like...
"Put your arm around me"
"Kiss my cheek"
"Hold my hand"
To anyone around us, it could've sounded like I was being a needy girlfriend, but in all honesty I was just doing something for someone I cared about deeply. It wasn't hard having to pretend to be together, considering we were together for four years.
After our 'date', Michael dropped me off at my house and I checked to see if there was any news... nothing. Until I saw one article saying that I was spotted in downtown L.A. with someone but it didn't say who, but, of course, it still had something to do with Rob. Saying that I was out with my friend because Rob was busy, or I was only trying to take my mind off of him, or some stupid shit like that. Our plan hadn't worked on the first day, so we had to keep trying
*one week later*
Word of Michael and I didn't spread as quickly as news with Rob and I did. In any other scenario this would've been great, but not in this one. At the beginning of the week, people still were spreading the rumors about my lunch with Rob, even though we hadn't seen each other in a week.
It took that entire week for the websites to say something about Michael. Once one article was published, everyone started saying something and pretty soon it wasn't about Rob and I anymore, it was about the 'rekindling romance' between me and Michael. I can't lie and say that I wasn't just slightly sad that it wasn't Rob and I dating, but what we're doing is what's for the best. All I have to do, is wait until Twilight comes out and Rob and I are in the clear.
