When you kiss me goodbye
You say you'd find a way
Back into my life
I hold on to your words
They give me hope
I look back now
And you're gone like poof
My heart breaks apart
I gave you my trust
You took my all
And now you walk away
And I'm left in the dark
Then he comes
He takes my hand
And leads me from the dark
He keeps me alive
He keeps me afloat
But then you come back
And make him go
What did I do
I never hurt you
You say you love me
And my heart grew
But honey you left me once
With no one by my side
So now I won't let you
Enter my life
You did keep your promise
I won't deny that
But in the meantime
I saw the knife behind your back
