Curse

As the whispers start
He opens his eyes
And lets his lips part
The mockingbird takes flight

He lets out a whisper
As soft as her touch
All eyes on him
And in comes the hunch

She warned him
With all that was hers
But yet he starts to sing
Gets the worst curse

The bird that flew away
Stuck for a million days
Cried tears for help
Helpnessness, they only felt

She asks how to break
The curse that left him shaken
The boy awakens
Blood drips from her neck
