I love Ishimaru and in my opinion, he's pretty adorable even when he cries. I know he yells all the time but I think he's really funny. Even in the first trial:
"Everyone close your eyes! If you're the murderer, shout it out!"
During his free time events, I found he is a hard worker because he doesn't want to become like his grandpa and I learned a lot from Ishimaru. It's pretty sad that he can't make friends and that he cries for hours after Owada died.
I'm pretty sad that Ishimaru died because of Celeste and I can't stop thinking of it.
