"Eh? Heh..Uh, Kay, what do you mean?" Len laughed a bit nervously. He could read all the panic scribbled over her face.

Kay's eyes shifted down the hallway she came down, grabbed Len's arm, and walked as if she was about to blow a gasket or two.
Kay dragged Len further down the hallway where it was more empty and quite.
"Listen, I know your sister hasn't been herself lately, but I just walked past her in Mrs. Sakine's classroom, and she was having a meltdown. She was saying that she wanted Miku gone from the school, and Mrs. Sakine agreed to help her."

After hearing that, all Len could think of where questions, and they where piling up like bricks.
Why does Rin want Miku gone?
Why did Mrs. Sakine agree to help her?
What would Rin get out of Miku being gone?

"I have my theories, but I'm not sure why Rin would want Miku out of Crypton....do you know why she would?"

"Well, I think she's ticked off with me to be honest...I did lash out on her last night. I didn't know she would be this upset though...to want Miku gone..." Len's voice trailed off into the arising noise of the hallway.

Kay sighed and frowned.

"Well, I think you should at least tell her about it."

Len's eyebrow raised at Kay's statement.

"Why should I? I don't get why I have to do everything here."

Kay's eyes were narrowed and arched.
" I pretty much did all the dirty work for you, so it's your job to be the bearer of bad news." She stuck her tongue out at him and pulled her bottom eyelid down a little with her right pointer finger.

"Your so abrupt. You know, try to be a bit more predictable sometimes. It'll help you in the long run." Len's eyes where lowered and tired.

"Well, sorry to break it to ya, I don't run, I pace. So your advice is kinda useless to me ." She said as snarky as possible. She was getting irritated with both the problem and his useless remarks.

Len rolled his eyes and groaned before looking back at his fuming classmate.

" Your being obnoxious... " he stated.

He unknowingly added the last bit of fuel to the fire.
Kay could feel a vein in her forehead just waiting to pop, or for her ears to let out hot steam like a tea kettle on a burning stove. But, as the passive person she was, she swallowed her anger then gave him a silent shrug. She could tell she wasn't needed any longer and was happy to get away as soon as possible before she blew up.

Kay begin to walk away from Len hoping he wouldn't follow her, because the last thing that either of them needed was another issue other then the one that Rin created.

Len started to head to honor's math class, textbooks and papers at hand. Walking down a hallway; the hallway he's walked down with Miku for years.
If Rin succeeds with getting Miku kicked out of Crypton, I might not be able to walk with her again...

Ever.

"Len! This is unacceptable! A C on midterms in math is totally unacceptable and so below your actual capability. What will dad say when he gets home, huh? You've gotta work extra hard if you want mom and dad to be happy with us, and you failing doesn't help me either! I wouldn't be surprised if they rolled us over with a road roller. Heck, that would be them holding back..." Rin babbled to her brother.
He felt no shame though, nothing holding him down, no concern or even a slight care.
The only emotion nagging at him was his sister's.

"All you do these days is complain, Rin." Len groaned.
"Try finding something better to do with your spare time."

He gathered his detailed notes and study guides, he got up from the kitchen counter and descended into the main hall, then going up the stairs; every step silently screamed with anger.

Len could feel his veins pop in his forehead. Tired and aggravated, he slammed his bedroom door then fell backwards into his bed; only to roll over to keep his groans and shouts muffled from his negatively observant and metaling sister.

I'm done with this bull crap.....

                                                         ~

I never meant to care,
Neither did I anticipate for you to get wrapped up in the dark
But that was never my fault
Because I'm not your creator,
nor am I your puppeteer.
It was never my job to keep you from drowning in tears,
I don't own your emotions,
and you don't own mine.
We are all accountable for our own faults and sins
So will you ever be willing to take the fall,
Or will you take me down in the dark as well?
