Poor Miku slumped pitifully over the coffee table while letting her pencil run out of her hands and onto the grey carpet.
"I can't do this! " she cried vainly.
Len sighed in response.
"Come on, Miku, we have just a little more then we're done." He said in a despond way.

The clock was ticking, in in oh-so irritating manner. Len tapped his pencil on his textbook in sync with the ticking. Time disappeared so suddenly but yet, it won't go at the quick pace that it originally had. Where the two unknowingly procrastinating? Is Miku just having a hard time with the work or was she just stalling by taking her precious time flailing about the job to spend more time with Len? Her motives where nowhere hidden, it was obvious; in her mind, she was just easily killing two birds with one stone; spending time with Len and getting homework done.

After about half an hour, Miku's cries became more frequent, more petty and childish.

Len yawned and peered over at the clock with a tired and bleek motion.
"10:39..." he mumbled while joining Miku by lying his head down on the smooth surface of the coffee table.
"It's really that late?" She inquired while peering furrow-like into his glance.
He nodded while fiddling with her hair.
After a while of lying her head on the coffee table with him, she grew quite feverish.
"Well, it's quite late, I should get going." Miku hasten to say.
She rushed to grab her papers and shoved the haul in her backpack and skittered outside trying to avoid eye contact with her crush.
Before Len could say goodbye, Miku frantically slammed the door and ran down the block trying to rid herself of the flustered feeling in her chest.
Papa is gonna kill me for staying out this late, Miku thought as she ran past the street lights.
Miku lived in a different neighborhood then the Kagamine's, but she could still manage to walk with him to school everyday with ease. But that wouldn't be the case forever...
