As months went by, I had the privilege to get to know Juliette more. We went on dates, spend nights watching movies, or simply read a book to each other, and sometimes we just talk. Juliette was born on 26th of May 1990. She was born in a small town in Marseille. Her dad is a french who grew up in Liverpool. And her mum is a lovely woman grew up in Marseille. She once brought me to see them. It was in a cemetary, her parents died of a car accident when she was 6. She stayed with her uncle, Anton Bissette ever since. She loves to spend her time playing video games. Very odd indeed, you don't see girls enjoy playing video games that often. She is also an amazing cook. Well she should be since her mentor is a well known critic.
Juliette Moreau is made of wonders. She is a star that has came down to earth. She hates getting attention from people, but secretly likes it. She doesn't want to be a chef, as she said it's a boring life, but she practices to be better in cooking everyday. She hates when I stare deeply into her eyes, but she'll kiss me saying that I'm being cute. Juliette Moreau is made of wonders.
There were days when I had a bad day at work. I'll be coming home all moody and depressed. But when Juliette came up to me realizing that I'm not in the mood, she'll just hug me saying "There.. There.. Sweetheart, everything will be okay" and I straight away feel better. There were days when I came back from work and I saw her in her room crying. When I saw that, I know she misses her parents. I'll make a cup of hot chocolate, and serve it to her. I'll hug her as tight as I can. "Hey.. Hey.. It's okay, love. I'm here". She'll bury her face deep in my chest saying "This right here, is where I want to be. Forever in your arms". I love her more than anything in the world.
At work, I am the firm, bold man, always being strict. Sometimes even more strict than Mr.Lacroix himself. But when I see this beautiful, flawless face. I turn into a whole different man. A man that is sweet. A man that would jump in front of a bullet for her. I became Romeo himself, craving love from my Juliet.
Not to forget, those crazy nights we shared. It usually starts with me caressing her hair. Slowly and gently. Then I'll start to pull her closer to me for a short, sweet kiss. She'll look at me with a face full of innocence. I'll pull her even closer, to hug her. To feel her warm cheeks next to mine. I'll kiss them softly. Then she will start holding my head saying "Give it to me, now". She'll feel my body with her soft hands, and take off my shirt while I try to take her's off while kissing her neck. We'll undress each other and then I'll take her to a place out of this world.
The truth is, I never thought someone like her exists. I never thought someone could make me so happy. She is like the Sun, giving brightness to my days. She is the missing piece of my puzzle. We have been together for years now, and I can say my love for her never faded. Not even a bit.
On the Christmas eve of my 35th year, Juliette and I are having our usual Christmas eve dinner. I set up a table on the roof of my apartment, with dim lights on the wall and flowers all around the floor. It was a beautiful stary night. The sky was clear and filled with bright stars. Mr.Lacroix cooked us his best dishes. "It is a special night, you don't want it to be ruined by Max's terrible cooking skills" said Mr. Lacroix. We had our meal and started talking to each other about the funny moments we had. "Remember when we first met? You found me on the floor in the rain?" I asked. "How could I forget, it was the birth of something beautiful" she responded while holding my hands on the dinner table. "Yeah, I wasn't actually pushed by someone down the stairs. I was running, and I sliped. I fell pretty hard that I didn't want to get up ever again. I'm sorry that I lied". She giggled and said "I know. I saw you fell down the stairs. I had a good laugh before coming down to help you". We both laughed loudly. "So all this time, you knew I lied?" I asked. "Of course, but it's okay I know you wanted to act all manly in front of me" she replied. Later on that night, we look to the sky and acknowledge the bright stars shining above us. "Those stars, they're like hope. They shine brightly when things get dark. Just by their presence, it could help soothens someone's mind" she said. "...and heart" continued by me. "Just like you Juliette, you've always been there for me through every dark days, every moody afternoon. You're always there for me". She replied "You're always there for me too". I stand up from my chair and get on my knees in front of her. I reached into my blazer, searching for the pocket containing a very important box. "That's why, I want you to always be there for me, and I want to always be there for you, forever". I took out the box and opened it. "Juliette Evangeline Moreau, will you make me the happiest man on earth? Will you live your whole life with me? Will you marry me?".................................................... and she said yes.
