*Chris POV*

I sat in my hotel room pondering things. Everyone was piled in here since we had a couple of days before our next show.

An entire week had passed by and no one suspected a thing about Morticia and I. However, the more I pushed her away, the worse she got. Any chance she had, she took. If I was ever alone, she'd appear, purring at me, touching me, trying to kiss me; I didn't know how long she would go on for without giving up.

"Christopher." Rose said seriously, snapping me out of my thoughtful trance as she sat beside me with a serious face.

Her eyes were full of humor though.

"Gnome." I forced a grin.

"Can we talk?" She asked unexpectedly.

A thousand things flitted through my mind at once. What did Morticia do!?

"Sure." I shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant when I was terrified.

*Rose POV*

A week had gone by and Chris was acting weirder and weirder. Our conversations were usually short now, and he seemed to be avoiding me to an extent. I decided today was the last day, and that I needed to know what was bothering him. He clearly was not OK.

.... I also had to tell him that I told Lauren and Morticia that him and I were together.

"Christopher." I said in the best posh accent I could manage as I plonked next to him.

"Gnome." Chris said after he came to from spacing out.

He forced a grin that didn't reach his eyes.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

He looked genuinely horrified and guilt stricken for a moment. What was up with him....?

"Sure." He shrugged casually.

"No I mean, can we talk."

"Oh. Er... to Starbucks then?" He asked.

"Yeah." I smiled, hoping he would feel less nervous.

We got up and slipped out of the room silently. Everyone was busy having a good time anyway, so they didn't notice us.

Once outside of the hotel, Chris slipped his hand into mine and I smiled up at him.

"So, you wanted to talk?" He began slowly.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"Well...?"

I wanted to ask what was wrong, but felt like I should wait till he had Starbucks and felt more comfortable talking. I decided to tell him about Morticia and Lauren.

"I spoke to Lauren and Morticia today." I began and he stiffened.

That was weird... I decided it was unimportant and carried on.

"Well... I kind of let slip that we were together." I chuckled nervously.

He froze and stared at me in shock. Well I wasn't expecting him to react like this...

*Chris POV*

"Well... I kind of let slip that we were together." Rose chuckled sheepishly.

I froze dead in my tracks. What? What? Morticia couldn't know! She'll see it as some twisted competition... she's been getting more unstable every day... I feared how she would take the news...
