Percy's POV
The funeral for all those who bravely fought, and died in the giant war had just finished. That included Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, and Leo. Annabeth and I were the only of the seven to survive. We stood there staring at there graves. Everyone else had left exept Annabeth, and I. Because everyone has left Annabeth saw it as ok to cry, so she did on my shoulder, and I just held her trying to comfort her. All I could think of was the song Over You by Miranda Lambert.
It really sinks in, you know
When I see it, in stone

I miss you
They say I'll be okay
But I'm not going to
Ever get, Over you.
Once Annabeth and I had finished paying our respects we were flashed to Olympus. She was still in my arms crying quietly.
"Percy. Annabeth." Zeus greeted us half-heartedly. I gave him a slight nod in acknoledgement, because I was still trying to sooth my Wise Girl. "We have decided to offer godhood for both your countless acts of bravery, and sacrifice." he breathed out.
I looked at my Wise Girl, and she nodded in agreement. "Ok" we both said. Suddenly there was a searing pain everywhere. In this pain Annabeth and I only higher eachother tighter, and cried out in pain. It thankfully stopped soon after.
When I was able to open my eyes I saw the mist beautiful thing in the Universe. Annabeth was wearing a storm grey chiton with gold embelishments. She had a glowing aura about her.
"I pronounce Annabeth, goddess of Architecture with the sacred animal of a raven, and Percy God of swordsmanship, and loyalty with the sacred animal of a Pegasus" Zeus decreed.
With a surge of courage I looked at Annabeth and asked her what I've wanted to for months. "Annabeth since we are now imortal, will you spend the rest of eternity with me and marry me?" I asked getting down on one knee, and pulling out the engagement ring/dagger I had Tyson make me.
"Yes"
