Chapter 3

After we flashed to camp Annabeth broke down again, and I comforted her while blinking back tears of my own.

"I knew she was opposed to us as a couple, but I didn't think Posieden or her would go this far. I know they've always done more harm than good but it's still hurts."she sniffled.

"I know Annabeth. I know" I said smoothing her hair down. "How about we say goodbye to everyone at camp, visit my mom, Paul, your dad, then get married and live away from the gods." I suggest
"That's actually a really good idea. I'm gonna have to find a new nickname for you because you're not as much of a seaweed brain as you used to be." She said chuckling.
"But I like my nickname" I pouted." I replied just as cheekily.

We kissed, and then walked to the Big House to tell Chiron, and say bye to the remainder of our friends.

"Chiron?" We knocked on the door to the Big House.

"Percy my boy, how can I help you" He asked coming up behind us without his wheelchair.

"Well came to say goodbye to you and camp because we're getting married, and moving away from the gods" I said calmly and a bit cheerful.

"Congratulations, but why are you moving away from the gods? From the aura around you it would seem you are gods now." he asked confused, yet happy for us.

"First of all, there are too many memories of those we lost here. Second, after making us Gods and I proposed to Annabeth, Athena and Poseidon disowned us. So we figured we would move away from the Olympians, and Greek/Roman mythological world." I replied.

"Well I knew that two of them didn't approve of you as a couple, but I didn't think they'd go this far." he said suprised.

"Would you please get the others, so we can say goodbye" Annaneth asked.

"Sure, Nico, Reyna, Thalia, and Grover are over at the beach." he replied cheerily.

" K thanks. Bye Chiron"

We started walking towards the beach to say goodbye.

"Percy how many kids do want in the future?" Annabeth asked.

"Maybe one or two, and then go from there. See how we do with one of two, then go from there. Also maybe wait a while till everything is stable, but I do want kids Wise Girl." I took her hands in mine and looked straight at her.

"Thank you for comforting me Percy"

"Anytime Wise Girl" I smiled and we continued walking.

When we got there everyone was facing the water in a semicircle looking very gloomy.

"Hey guys" we called.

"Hey"

"Notice anything different about me?" Annabeth asked cheekily.

"Well you and Percy are glowingfor one, and you have a ring on. OMG CONGRADULATIONS!" Thalia said, more like squealed.

"Congrats buddy I wondered when you'd man up and do it." Grover said.

"I'm confused, why are we congratulating them" Nico asked.

"We're engaged Neeks" I chuckled. For once I wasn't the seaweed brain here.

"Oh, congrats then" he replied sheepishly.

"So why are you two glowing? Is it because......." Reyna asked.

"No, no it's not that. We were called to Olympus and were granted godhood. However Posieden and Athena disowned us when I proposed. So it wasn't all great" I said quickly. "The rest of the council was ok with it, just not our godly parents"

"And here I thought the goddess of wisdom had more cool and calm" Thalia replied snarkily.

Just then the Olympian Council (minus Posieden and Athena) flashed in.

"Well I didn't expect to see you again so soon" I said to the council.

"We had more to say before you left." Zeuss replied. "Hades, Hestia, Hephestus, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, Apollo, and myself wish to bless you two" he said.

So, I was blessed by Hades, Hephestus, Hermes, Aphrodite, Apollo, and Zeuss suprisingly. Annabeth was blessed by Hades, Hephestus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Apollo, and Zeuss. Then Hestiamade is both her Champions. Being blessed, and given that much power hurts like a Hellhound bite, but 100 times worse. Believe me, not fun.

After we each had a bit of nectar and ambrosia to recover there was another flash, but fairly larger than the gods. once it had dimmed there was a person who looked both male and female, with a large cloak that had galaxies seen into it.

"Lord Chaos" gasping Zeuss and the other gods bowed to Chaos. Being the nonsuicidal demigods and satyr that we are we followed suite.

"Rise, I have come for Perseus Jackson, and Annabeth Chase." Great another powerful person who wants me dead. "I have seen your situation, and seeing as neither of you knows where you're going, I thought I would adopt young Percy, making him my heir, and the second most powerful being in the universe. Once I've adopted him, I can marry the two of them. Once I adopt you Percy, and you two are married you will become the leaders of my new army, for this you may pick any troops, and bring back anyone for the army. Hades expect a few missing souls from the underworld. This army is not for conquering, or war, it is to maintain peace and balance. And to make sure everything I have created doesn't tear itself to shreds. Any questions?" Chaos said.

All of our jaws were in the ground. At least this really powerful person likes me, enough to adopt me. Gradually everyone recovered their composure.

"Ah, yes. Can we visit my mom, and Paul to explain what is going on?" I asked.

"Of course, I highly doubtshe would want to miss your wedding. You can invite anyone you wish, but only you two will stay in the Cahos realm" Chaos replied.

"May we join the army as well?" Nick and Thalia asked.

" If I remember correctly you both have other obligations. Nico you being the messenger and bridge between the two camps, as well as a certain son of a Apollo who would miss you too much." Nico blushed at that. "And Thalia you are still a hunter of Artemis. Even if both of you give up those responsibilities, you two have to help Reyna and Chiron make sure that neither camp falls apart, and they're not at eachother's throats." Chaos finished.

Annabeth and I had a silent conversation, and decided it would be better to go with Chaos where we could get away from bad pasts, fallen friends, and the disownment. Most likely visiting mortal parents, and remaining friends.

"Alright, we accept"
